Hello, Just a quick question for you all. I was just wondering about how much this shifter knob is worth. The picture is kinda crummy,but the center is dark green,and the shift pattern is chrome. It's a a 4 speed knob. It's in perfect condition,still has the casting seam,and all of the grain is still in the rubber also. It's out of my brother's 260Z that he just bought. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Dave B.

Does anyone know if a rollbar from a 2 seater coupe will fit in a 2+2? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave B.

I was just wondering if there is any way to tell the difference in a 4 or 5 speed from a Datsun Z car,just by looking at the case? I have two transmissions. I have a numbers that are stamped in the bellhousing portion of the trans. As near as I can tell it's 763T007 ? The other one that I have has the numbers 7115512. **** Is there anywhere that I can just look up these numbers? **** I added some pics. I have two transmissions that look to be identical. There are pics of both of them. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I just have a question about ports in heads. I have a header for sale that is rectangle port,and the gentleman that wants to purchase it from me has round ports on his head. My question is will the header designed for rectangle ports ,work on a round port head?

Hello, I just joined the site today. I currently own two 1974 260Z's One is pretty much stock. It has a 280Z shortblock with a 260Z head,it has a home made intake on it with a 390cfm Holley on it. It runs ok,and is pretty much fun to drive. My other 260Z is a former SCCA race car. The last trime that it was raced was in 2002. It has alot of different modifications done to it. It has a roll bar,and bigger swaybars,it has aftermarket struts on it,the differential was upgraded to a R200. It is not currently running though. I am trying to figure out what kind of distributer that I have in the car. It had an MSD box on it,and the guy that I got it from took it all off. The car came with fiberglass quarterpanels,and fiberglass fenders. I'm not going to use the fenders or quarters. My brother is going to use the quarters on his 78 280Z,but the fenders I am going to sell. Well I am really looking forward to getting to know some of the other Z car owners,and also learning more about the cars in general.
