The interior still had the rubber AMCO floor mats. The seat has since been changed with one from my orange '78 280Z. I found an old AMCO wood shift knob for the car. -
Engine bay just after purchasing from the original owner. The battery frame had long been missing from the car. -

Not such a hot picture and there are always details to finish; have a bunch of factory breather hoses and clamps to install. Looking after 7 Z's can take its toll. -

Very cool; I missed the chance to buy a '78 that was only 6 off of my VIN#! Nice to see the other Z still with its original owner! If only I could move to central California. -

Eric, that pic reminds me of a tape my friend Joe lent to me of a ZG club in Japan that taped themselves driving various Fairlady's around. I think it was one of the Option video series as the second half was dedicated to the early Skylines.
