  1. Historic rallying in the US has no strick regulations. You inter your car in your National Class and then if it is an old car you put an H after yours number plate and you are in the Historic class. There are no Historic Stage Rallies. I can try to change this as I have ogranized some rally sprints and rally crosses. Even if I just start off with a few cars. I can get 6 -8 cars from just my friends. So fender flares are not a problem but I would still like to use the right ones. Do you have any photos and specs on the suspension. Like spring rate, travel, Strut shaft size. Ken
  2. Good Day Adrian I am starting with a 280 Z shell as I believe it stronger and I have no problem with engine and drive train. To get propper struts and springs is where I need help. Also the propper look (fender flares, Light pods on the hood). Any help is much wanted. Ken
  3. Carl Vinnie has spoke of you and your car. I would love to someday (someway) to drive the BRE Baja Z. Druing ther 60s and 70s my grand parents lived in Ridge Manor Fla (rt. 50 and rt.301) This is a nice part of Fla it is not so flat it has hills. I Will get so pictures up on line when I get the time.
  4. That time frame I was on Long Island. The only time I went to CT. was to go to Bob Sharp or the CONN Classic Rally.
  5. Dave I plan on driving the Z in historic rally. Only if there was a true Hictoric class and or a true seires in the US. Ken
  6. Hello My name is Ken Burt and yes I have worked on Zs for a long time. At my own shop and Datsun/nissan dealers. I currently work with Vinnie Bedini at Preformance Specialties in New Milford, CT USA. I have owned many Zs. now I am down to 2 Zs and a 2000. I also have three rally cars: 1600sss, Gp4 Violet GTS and a GpB 240RS. I would like to build a proper Rally Z and I would like any help in getting the right parts. I am looking forward to getting to know many of you. Ken
