thanks for the pics guys! now how about some 17's stock with a matched tire that fills the fender? to much like a roller skate? how about a set of 17's and lowered an inch or more
sell ya my unknown 14's! .
i have a thread up here looking for different wheel tire and height combo pics. maybe you will get some inspiration there. even tho i'm interested in z's and you zx's
i have found some good pics to help the fiance decide what she wants for our 77 280z, but options with a spec sheet is seeming to be hard to find. can ya post a side view picture of your Z with different size wheels and different ride heights as well? personaly i'm thinking of a 16x8 and lowered about an inch, but i gotta keep telling myself its her car, not mine!!!
i'm not that familar with running compression tests on the early Z's. but it is a good sign that they are all about the same. but 90 is quite a bit low. hopefully you forgot to stick the throttle open....
well here are a few from when i picked it up. just put the cowl back on, and windshield wipers. working on cleaning out the inside a bit. need to rewire the electric fuel pump. and tune this holley. cept i know zero about carbs. time to search!
one of my fav things
i've been a 300zx guy from day one. but i'm excited to say that i own a 77 280z now! don't know much about these z cars, but i'm researching day and nite. this one needs alot of tlc inside and out. but the platform is what i was after. a solid engine and drivetrain. and 100k miles! it has been converted to a clifford intake and holley 4bbl. not sure its exactly what i want, but it will work for now at least! due to the snow here in north arizona, i couldn't get it home to tinker with tonite. wish me luck tomorrow!
