Disaster struck this morning
On another forum here, is another way to remove the dent - but I think it needs two blonds and besure to have the windows rolled up tightly before you blow into the tailpipe.

flares and air dam make any car "cool"
I choose my cars for the stock look of the car. Most add-on's, like spoilers, flairs and such - spoil the original design to me. But everyone to his own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If the increased (if there is an increase) performance is worth the mods then it may well be a more beutiful car for simply that reason.

gas tank cleaning (not from z)
Go with what Blue tells you - if you don't want to shake the tank - get a pick-up truck and a really bad bumpy road - my $0.02 drink the coke - as a cleaner - not that great. BUT use eye protection USE IT - Don't lose it - your eyes. Keep a large pitcher of water near by or water hose running. Rinse off all acids or acetone after using. After the tank is really clean there are products to fill in any pin holes or severe rust damage. You may want to consider a new tank if the other is too badly eaten. I can't say enough about personal protection from the acids. I work in a hospital - it's much cheaper to be prepared than make that trip to the E.R.. The few times I do try to work on my cars anymore - I'm so bad at it - I call ahead to see if the Blood Bank has O- in stock.

Do any of you have this problem.
H4 - as we say in the country town of Alief, Tx. - just across the line from Sugarland, Tx Some days chicken and some days feathers. This is starting to be like old home week at Zcar - I expect at anytime to be hauled to the wood shed by Conan The Grammarian. If I can find a Paint & Body shop that will take on ZXelda - in Houston - good job at a reasonable price - and not skip town - then I can get those headlight up grades I asked about.

Now about that "redneck" country crack - Folks - I have had far more courtesy and consideration (dimming of headlights and careful driving) from country folks and long haul truckers way out on the roads than any 100+ city drivers. There's a lot of good people out there - just don't pack 'em in so tight.

BTW Jackhammer - For country outings I prefer the "Long" Colt .45 - several Colts, Ruger, S&W and Win 94 Trapper. For intown social work it's S&W .40 for service size pistol - .45 acp I just don't go to the range often enough to justify carrying - and for covert carry .380.

Jack - fellow texan and pun intended - ya came down a little hard their son. Seriously H4 and I have been comrades so to speak for a bunch of years. We are very sempatico and love the dry British type humor and beyond the fringe outlook on life. Plus H4 Is a very bright fellow - ok - bad pun but the man knows his stuff. Yeah I'm finding my way here - testing the waters and seeing the different answers that folks are coming up with. Or is that coming with, up. The older I get the more my participles seem to dangle. Or is that early onset Alzhiemer's. Anyway - Tony D. gave the political perspective over at the floundering Zcar and H4 has the professional install side covered and I may not have to see the eye doc so soon. Besides - questions like this tend to get discussions going and meet new folks. So from one Texan to another - Why did the chicken cross the road? To prove to the armadillo that it could be done.

Well if you really want to scare someone - prob drive off the road too - consider strobe lights - front and back. An English magician came up with that and other amazing illusions in WWII. The strobe lights were so successflu in hiding the port of Alexandria that the German pilots became so disoriented that more crashed from the strobe lights than were shot down at night.

Do any of you have this problem.
Good to know I'm not entirely falling apart. It doesn't help that I've been working night for over 30 years and I am sensitive to bright light but sunglasses help that. I thought the blue lights were bad enough - someone is running a bright green. And now even the tail lights are getting too bright. Would someone please invent an electrical zapper that will shut down the other car's electricals and most important the driver's surgically implanted cell phone.

Bright headlights at night. It seems a lot of people are driving with highbeams on and don't know or care. Being in a lower slung Z car I can understand that trucks and SUVs and some larger higher stance cars would be shining more towards my windshield but then again maybe the lights aren't positioned right. From the back the answer is easy enough, limo window tint - but then the lights in the side mirrors shine right back in my eyes. Sometimes I'd like to shoot something back - lead or intense spot light - but I'm expected - as an elder statesman so to speak; to set a better example. Anyone else notice this?

Blonde Joke:
I sure hope YORG0 owns his own business - anyone else's boss wouldn't let them waste this much time. Mine just doesn't know it yet.
