Its got a rear plate, and a whole bunch of parts in the back, I wonder if hes going to rebuild it.. I wish I could get in touch with him so he could give me the car..

Well, its winter, its snowing.. why in the world would anyone drive their datsun now.. Well I was coming home from my friends house, and my other friend was looking at a industrial building, and as we drove by he goes "Datsun!" Im like whoa! it is! I turned around and went to look at it, it had been sitting over night, because it was covered in snow.. I noticed there was no front license plate, and I want to go back and check if there is a rear license plate.. Not to cheat anyone out of their datsun, but I want it.. because if there is no rear license plate, I could call the police, and get permission to tow it.. and my friends parents own a body shop, and they have a tow truck Its got small spots of visible rust on the body, from what I could tell.. it had pretty bad rust in the wheel wells.. Id say on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most rusty.. This car is a 3.459.. Im hoping its abandoned..(dont know why someone would do that) .. if there is no rear plate either it might be.. ..

Wow, well most of you think im crazy.. but its rare to see a Datsun around here, especially because its winter, although we have no snow.. (Oshkosh, Wisconsin)... I was walking through the living room, and I saw a blue flash go buy, so I ran to the door and looked down the street, and holy crap.. a blue 240z, turning the corner down the block.. So.. I wanted to follow it, but my sisters car was blocking my truck in the garage, so I took her car, and tryed to find where it went, well a block a way I found it, I turned, and he was coming towards me down the road, wow.. mint condition, blue.. awesome! I turned around, and tryed to see where he went. He was looking at a airplane at the airport, then I went to get my truck.. and he took off down the road.. and I never saw it agian.. but it sure did sound sweet.. I want one even more now.. ya, and thats the first one I've ever seen driving on public roads.. I've seen them racing before, and sitting, but never driving on roads.. soo.. yay..

Well, I got a little bored in school.. I cant take all the credit for this all being free hand.. but most of it is.. I had to trace some of a picture to get the proportions and styling of the car right.. Drawn from this car.. (not sure whos it is.. I think it was on this board, or the Hybrid Z board..) If I ever get a Z, I want it to look just like this car.. -End

I bet with all those sticker mods and huge wings they have.. They must be putting out atleast, what.. 54 horse power?

Well, heres an update on the 240z's from up north.. I personally didnt go, but my friend went up for the weekend, he said he drove by it a few times, and noticed they had SIX Z cars sitting out by the road for sale.. He said he saw visable rust on 2, but only on the hood, and roof.. It sounds to me like those are parts cars, because he said it had a differant colored door.. The other ones he said looked like they had new paintjobs, which were shiny and glossy looking, so that could be a good thing right? I guess when I go up north hunting Ill have to take a look at them, and maybe get some pictures or more info from the owners... later.

Nothing against woman drivers, or mini-vans.. but I hate them both... hehe.. I have a reason too.. Now, minding my own buisness going to school one day, I was in the far right lane, to turn right into the parking lot. Before the parking lot enterance, is an exit from a half-circle drive, that the school buses use to drop the kids off.. We'll, a lady in a Mini-van was sitting there looking to the right with her left blinker on, then she starts to go, WHILE STILL LOOKING TO THE RIGHT.. I was like *BAM, CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH* $^!#... STUPID F'in *prostitute* and other choise words, but not to her face, only in my truck.. Well anyway.. I get out feeling a bit shaken, as this is my first accident, ever.. and I just got my license a few months before.. I go check to see if shes alright, the lady is sitting in the Van, with the engine still running, while her radiator fan chopping away, because it had fallen out.. and she still is sitting inside with the engine running.. I ask if shes alright, and then tell her to shut off the engine.. well finally she does.. There was about 10-15 eye witnesses including my friend, who was driving right behind me, and saw it all.. Some kid called the police department, and within 5 minutes an officer arived.. Told him the story, and he gave her a citation, and 100% blame.. Well.. great, I took my truck to a body shop, and they asked if it was drivable, which it was, but I wasnt stylin or nothin anymore.. hay hay, they can get me in within a month! great.. So I drove my truck with damage for about 2 weeks, then waited for it to get back for 3 weeks.. So I went for a month without driving my truck, and they gave me a 2.0l dodge neon.. my god.. its like riding a bike trying to pull 1,000lbs compared to my 4.3l truck. well anyway, the repairs costed $5,230+ or somthing. and I was happy to get my truck back, it recieved.. a new front panel, new door, new door sil, new ... well everything on the right side is new.. ohh, and my right side tire was slashed, so i told them I'd buy 4 new ones (which I was planning on doing THAT DAY, weird huh) if they paid for 2, because I have posi, and it would wear really fast if you only put 1 new one on. heres a pic of the Minivan that hit me.. Phht.. you call that an accident? And heres what she did to my truck! notice the nice white marks that were caused by the core support, cutting into the sheet metal.. sucks huh..

I thought some Datsun 240z's came Turbocharged, hummm.. How much horsepower and torque does the stock inline 6 put out? And whats the stock curb weight of the Datsun?

How rare is the Turbo inline 6 in the 240z cars? What is the chance that the cars up north will have turbo engines? I know what you mean by how they rust.. I have seen one with 1x,xxx miles on it, completely rusted while the owner was off in the service, he said he also completly covered it..

Maybe I should talk to the guy who also owned the talon, about where he found his Z, and if he knows anyone or somthing like that.. or maybe if hes willing to part with his :cheeky: .. but I doubt it.. he he.. anything is for sale for a price right?.. I guess I would be willing to travel a few hours for the right car.. I wonder what he ment, by it was sitting in the desert or somthing like that, and all that was wrong with it is that the paint was faided..
