    I agree with tanny alll though Low Riders arent my gig there is alot of work that goes into those cars and the amount of money it takes to get them to become show material is amazing. So they must be doing something right.

    wondering after the chain is off what is the proceder to get it in time again or is there one just wondering. Thanks guys new to the Zworld only owned mine for 2years now and the first year never had to mess with it. now im putting the F54 in it and need a little help.Thanks

  7. Just wondering witch is the best carbed or FI with the turbo. Dont no much about turbo motors thanks guys
  8. :stupid: hey guys wondering what the best setup on the Lmotor is and i hear it is the F54 with P90 head my question is is that motor fuel injected? does it have a turbo? do i have to run the fuel injection and turbo? if thats what it is if i dont how do i go about getting it carberated the reason i ask is that the L24 in my Z is shot the head is allright but the bottom has a couple of cracks that are bad.and i found a Newer Zthat is wrecked and abandoned and the motor is in tacked havent seen the motor yet want to know what to look for. Thanks guys for the help dont know what i would do with out you.

    Wow so you didnt have to mod. anything but better supension thats kind of what im gong for dont own a welder or a torch if you can let me know all you did to get it in the motor bay i would be greatfull thanks alot for the heads up

    i posted a thread on broken head bolts got alot of good replys tryed all of them dont get me wrong i was very happy that i got fast good replys but none of them worked sad to say i am at my wits end so frustrated!!!!!!!!!! so would it be easyer to just drop a small block in to My 73z i have done some research and it is going to add alot of weight i know my Z is not one of the lightest but it is one of those wicked 240's what should i do? if droping a small block is the way to go what do i need to do thanks for being there Zclub
  17. just like the red z at the top of the page the thin one on the red Z its on all the sweet Z's its probably on yours not the one that sticks out passed the body

  20. There is a great shop in Seaside called Dr.Z does great work for a resonable price have had my Z there a few times a great machine shop for what your looking for its down from you in the montery area.

    Help im stuck had replace the head gasket on my 73 240 apon doing so snaped to head bolts off there still stuck in the block tryed drilling only to find that the bits just dull is there a certan type i should be using other than metal? the other bolt that is in the block i had drilled i broke the screw out in the bolt so im kind of stuck i need some help with this problem please want mry Z back in the worst of ways thank you for your replys.

  25. i recently went to change my head gasket and found the block had a crack in the cylender wall the head had been rusted right oabove the #1 piston searching for a new motor what shaould i get i hear the 280 block is what to get with it if so will my motor still be carbed need all the info i can get please help want my z back in the worst of ways thank you
