OK 240z for sale, help?
Also when you go to look at it keep in mind, if you are going to do restoration, how much work you will be looking at. Rember, parts cost money too. Also ask yourself if any of the work will be over your head.

The albertsons would be good. Room to park and we can grab drinks there. I know it's not for almost two weeks but I'm getting excited.

I'm really glad that you got your baby back. However I have a feeling that you are even more happy. Glad she was not hurt.

mother friggin crap
Well I just put Tokico Illumina and springs in. What a pain in the arse. It took me over six hours, plus a drive to napa to get a new brake line(don't ask). All in all I'm very happy with the results but I'm still pissed that I got brake fluid all over me. It friggin turned my coveralls white. For future referance is there a easy way to change them? I took off the caliper then the brake line(it kinked when I moved it, hence the trip to napa) I then undid the control arm. Rinse&repeat four times. Then for fun I had to bleed my brakes at the end. I have decided that I have a love hate relationship with my car.

Not bad, but........
My 73 240z redlines at 7000 Rpms and the speedo starts at 10mph. Also it has a "yellow line" at 6500.

Here we go again.
I'll put in the parts order tommarow. The funny thing is I was planning on getting them anyway. I hope that will solve this little problem. Thx all.

Here we go again.
If I put on new Tokico shocks, springs... that will stiffen up my ride. That will help, but it will also drop it an inch.

Here we go again.
I have the origanal crappy springs ect. It only happens when I hit bumps. As for the wheels, they are a 0 offset.

Here we go again.
Well I just put some brand new tires on. They rub in the back. They are 215/60/14. Is it just me or does it seem insane that they would rub? Should I send them back? I heard that you could do something with the wheel well to give some extra space. It involves bending the lip back. Any ideas? So much for getting the Tokico struts ect. that would lower it an inch and I don't have an inch. Why does this $^!# always happen to me?

I found a Fairlady Zg. It is right hand drive. There is a little rust on hood and hatch. How much do you think I should be willing to pay for her?

Is this an original factory am-fm stereo 8-track for 73'240z
Sorry bud. I have a 73 240 and the radio looks nothing like that. I don't have the 8 track, never heard of that option, but I would assume it would some what resemble the plain radio in styling.

Thank you President Clinton
Even the liberals agree that Clinton stuck a knife into the stomach of our military. Why do you think we had such a hard time deploying a squad of UH-64's to Kosovo. I'll give you a hint, it was not because of his extensive spending towards the military. I can't believe that you are trying to place some of the credit, for getting rid of Saddam, with Clinton. In 1991 the US had 1,985,555 active duty personal. In 2000, after Clintons cutbacks, we had 1,370,237 adp. Over six hundred thousand people got laid off. Last time I checked laying off 600K people ain't to good for the economy either.

Little help...
Okay here it goes. I'm having a power loss on my 73 240. It seems to happen when when the car is warm and the rpms are above 2k. I let her run for thirty minutes idling and it did not die. I then jumped in and reved her up. The tach went up and then went down. All the way down. I then tried starting her up again. She turned over fine but then it just went dead after the initial surge of power. I'm getting fuel into the carbs so it is not the fuel filter or pump. I tested out the coil and it is fine. The distributor is okay too. I checked the plugs and wires but they were all fine. I also tested the alternator and it is working fine. I'm at a dead end and I need some help guys. Thanks, Charlie PS everytime I look at my car sick it brakes my heart:disappoin
