  1. That is close enough. The differences between tire sizes isn't enough to worry about. Use the street settings...
  2. Alignment Settings - Brakes, Wheels, Suspension, and Chassis - HybridZ
  3. I am reading this with interest as I have a very similar setup: Rebello 3.0, aluminum 4 for radiator (heater core is not blocked off) and I have a 13 PSI cap. I had mine apart last summer and it looked fine. Are you running a diesel water pump?
  4. At first I was not able to sign in with my IPad & then my Mac Air and then my IPhone but my PC worked so I posted a question as to why. Then my PC wouldn't sign in. I then went through the steps like I forgot my user name and password and it turns out my user name (for signing in) was changed. After signing in with the temporary password I was able to redo my password .

There is a hole in your car?
  6. I have the TTT control arms (the 3rd picture) and am very pleased with them. Their quality is outstanding. The Arizona Z billet ones are really nice but I've always worried about having the pivot point moved with another pivot point. The red ones have the same issue. I just don't like that design. I've had the TTT setup for about 3 years now with 6 track days and several thousand miles driven in the mountains of Colorado.
  7. The maximum lift with the stock springs is .460 so it was probably made to get around that limitation. I have 290 duration .495 lift but using Isky springs.
  8. We had to use MSD 8920 adaptor for my dads '72 but we were triggering the 6AL with the magnetic pickups from a 83 zx distributor. My '74 is setup the same way with the stock distributor. (Magnetic pickups also)

You mean like I did in turn 8 of this lap? http://m.youtube.com/?reload=3&rdm=m9xtks3nf#/watch?v=1tUmAVXK35A http://m.youtube.com/?reload=3&rdm=m9xtks3nf#/watch?v=1tUmAVXK35A

One of my better laps at High Plains Raceway
  11. I use Silvermine Motors stage 4 setup front & rear and they work much better than I expected with my TTT setup. www.silverminemotors.com On the other hand, if you have $$ for the Wilwood setup from Arizona Z I've seen that setup on the track and it's pretty awesome.
  12. Just a note ...mine does not have the extra weights in the front...wonder why?
  13. I'm not sure what that plate is for (I think it dampens noise from the diff) but someone has added those 4 plates in front. I would remove one or all with an angle grinder.

The float is either not adjusted correctly or isn't "floating" anymore. Could also be the valve that the float actuates is bad or fuel pressure is too high. Although if the other carb isn't leaking then I doubt it's fuel pressure.

Your fuel rail is the correct one for a 260. It sounds to me like you need to do a thourogh tune up. There is another fuel filter by the gas tank that may need replacing. Cutting out under load could be a lean condition or poor ignition system. by the looks of those filters though I'd start with the filter in back...

Can be done while it's still on the car. Might be difficult to find and retrieve the disk while it's still on the car but I did mine that way.
  17. I got my brakes, front and rear, from silverminemotors and they were good to deal with. I've heard good things about shox.com too.
  18. Those are chokes for cold starting. They won't move until the engine is warm

Hardway, it was just the standard plush. $189 before shipping. It was not loop carpet though.
  20. Your ammeter reading below zero at idle leads me to believe your regulator is on its way out. I would do all those things mentioned above but if it still reads blow zero I would change it. The stock voltage regulator is old technology. The one MSA sells is solid state and works very well. I wish I had changed mine a lot sooner than I did because it solved several issues on my car that I didn't even know where because of low voltage. Tach use to do weird stuff, blinkers would slow down and occasionally stop.
  21. Check grounds. But it might be time for a new voltage regulator. MSA sells an updated one that plugs right in, couldn't be easier. Not too expensive either. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/SEIC03C/12-4082

We ordered a carpet for my dad's '72 from www.stockinteriors.com and I was really impressed. Very nice fit, pad was attached to the carpet and is high quality. Much better than the one I got from MSA for my '74. Although it's not bad.

I might be interested in selling my Rebello modified SU's. Always planned on going to triple Weber 45's anyway.
  24. I am wondering if it is possible to simply remove the E12-93 module on the side of the distributor and plug a MSD 6AL into the red & green wires to use the magnetic trigger in the distributor.
  25. I don't think they "rushed" the 280 into production as the 260 was made through December '74 ( as mine was) and sold halfway through 75 (as mine was sold April 75). Datsun was very busy complying with new smog & crash rules and were constantly making improvements. I think they knew early on that the 260 carbs were not going to perform well for the US market with more stringent regulations and began working on fuel injection then.
