  1. I have the Bridgestone tires 205/55/15, but I not tested them on the track or in the rain. My car hasn't seen since app. 1989.
  2. Go the Motorsport Auto. I think they have 4 different brands. I have the Motorsport Springs (NLA).
  3. I would say NO.
  4. I agree. Check Motorsport Auto.
  5. Andy Go ahead and get a camber kit for the front. Are the springs for a 280 or 240, there are different but I could be wrong.
  6. Made only 1.5 yr.,crappy carbs, added the 2+2, bumpers, early and late model. Other sites saying they lose the resale value. So what is it . Please comment. All s30 have their own set of problems.

Dave Chime In. What do you think of the 260. You have both.

Austin Go check out the 260z, First check to see if it has the round top carbs. That's a plus. If I could take the interior of the 260Z and place it in 72 240Z, that would my ultimate Z car. My second choice would a 260Z with 72 bumpers, with 72 round tops. My 260 runs very strong for a stock motor. I've out run 72,73Z back in the day ALL DAY LONG. But 280Z with a 5 speed took me on top end.(77&78 model) Austin
  9. Mitchell Glad you like it. I'm looking into R/T Mount. Trying to get a list of things together so I can do all of them at one time. My brother-in-law owns a gas station, so that helps.

Keep in mine there are 2 Models, early model looks like a 240 and the late looks like the 280. I perfer the early model. Lighter weight, better performance and it looks like the 240.

No Difference, but I need to clean mine. Go with K&N.
  12. It's listed in the 1975 280 dealer accessories catalog as a Datsun Competition hood vent. I think it's a dealer install option.
  13. Arne,Dave,Mitchell The R/T mount, is this the one your speaking about. TECHNO VERSIONS Differential Mount
  14. Mitchell I had this problem about 5yr. ago and traced it to a bad u joint on the rear axle shaft. The dreaded thunk went away.
  15. Since the gas prices have dropped I decided to fire the old gal up for a drink of BP high test. So, when came out of the store a lady was out my Z. She said, we have one of those. Her husband spoke up and said, no dear we have a 81Zx. I gave her a TZC card. So when I arrived back home,I wiped her down. She is currently taking a nap.
  16. Ok Guys The rear differential mount has never been replaced, so what improvement can I expect from this.

  20. The car looks great. Hope you can make to ZCON. This has been a long journey, but it's well worth the time and effort. Good Luck. If you ever come down to VIR shoot me an e-mail. I'm only 35 mins from the track.
  21. I have a dealer installed sun roof(Skyport) in mine. No problem but mine is not a daily driver. It has never leaked from day one. I don't know if a rubber replacement seal is available.
  22. I had a spare plug in my toolbox. The plug is 18 threads per inch.
  23. I don't know the correct size either, but take your old manifold by NAPA. They have plenty of plugs. Mine have been in app.10 years. No problem. Go ahead and pick up 8plugs, this will come up again.
  24. I love it,but I have an old Racemark that i bought from Miller and Norburn back in the day that I like as well. The cover needs to be resewed
