Well a 72 just sold on ebay and its still a project car in pieces. It sold for 9400. It really depends on how much rust you have and the overall condition. Those wheels really look bad. They need something. Maybe a polish? The rest of the car looks awesome. That red looks much much better outside the shop. Is the guy in oz that sold it interested in seeing how it turned out?

Yes i think you're right. The s31's had a factory option electric windows. Below is a pic of the power window mechanism from a s31. What's the nissan part# for the oz trims? This is the part# on mine. Actually I haven't researched what exact car my panels fit. I should drag out the parts catalog and take a look. Our usa panels fit 74-76 and then changed in 77-78.

I have a set of brand new factory nissan ones that i've held on to for years. I was hoping to someday sell them for big $$ but then these came along. Being in the usa i can ship flat rate boxes from the mainland to hawaii that can weigh up to 70 lbs for only 13 usd. Flight time from here to oz is only 10 hrs and i have LOTS of suitcases

I don't think the shipper will allow that because of theft issues. My shipper clearly stated that the car needed to be 1/4 tank gas and nothing inside the car or trunk. I hid parts and tools in the hidden compartments behind the seats in my 280z when i shipped mine. However your shipper may be different. Only way of knowing is visiting their website to look at the signed agreements you fill out before shipping.

Later version choke knob? I thought that was the correct one for 70-71 It looks like there are 2 different knobs for this year. A wider one and a skinnier one. If these things go for those crazy prices, I need to start hoarding them. There is another used series 1 cable without the throttle side for 50 bucks. Big disparity in price.

plug their model #'s into google. The one that looks like the z car radio has a strange model number i've never seen before. Usually the hitachi z radios start with KM. Possibly the wrong radio for that faceplate.

They don't know what a S30 Z is. They all rusted away years ago out here in hawaii. I'de first check to see if the crank turns. I stored an L28 for years and later found the cylinders all very rusty inside. Do you know if the engine was running good before it was taken out?
