  1. I use 2 circulation pumps from harbor freight in my 5 gallon bath. Get the flow right on the parts being plated. I turn the parts every 5 minutes.
  2. are you using circulation pumps in your bath?
  3. I used a impact driver on 3 of mine and one would not come out so I drilled and used and easy out. Good luck
  4. I use these on my ezcarlift, these might help.. http://ezcarlift.com/accessories/IHP/icehockeypucks.php
  5. has the 72-73 center console....
  6. oh my, i drive through conway on my way to surfside 2-3 times a month. I wonder if I could talk the wife into stopping and looking at the cars....... IMO the 240z looks more like a 72 from the interior pictures...
  7. I pick up one of the last sets of nos from nissan about 4 years ago and they cost around $350 each back then.
  8. no longer on eBay... I believe the car was sold out right...
  9. hard to tell from your pictures if they are small cracks or something poked small iholes in dash. If the hole is cracked all the way around, then I would remove that tiny piece. No need for filling with foam on these small ones, foam only for deep wide open cracks. I would tape off the good surrounding areas around each one or group since you will want to keep as much of the good dash texture as you can. Sand the area in question for something for the filler to bite into. Clean area well and apply thin layer of filer and let it set up. Sand until it is about level or close to being about right. Then remove the tape and do the final feather edge sanding.
  10. I am not sure if they fit a 260z, maybe someone can chime in. as with all my items, if not 100% satisfied for any reason, you can return for refund minus the shipping costs.
  11. I'll make some up in my next batch and the good thing for you is i'm in greer
  12. My very first car I ever owned is my 1971 240z, which I have owned for 32 years now. Started my restoration back in 2011 and still working on it today. Helping other 240z owners with rubber parts leaves me very little time to work and finish my car. Like this weekend I am making a batch of rubber and metal parts for owners in need. link to some pictures of my car. http://www.240zrubberparts.com/apps/photos

  14. Good job. I was also 16 when I purchased my first 1971 240Z 34 years ago. This is the same first car that is under my current restoration. keep the pictures coming!!!!
  15. I like seeing these photo's of what it originally looked like coming out of the factory, can you take any photos of the doors so I can see how the factory placed the clear plastic film and the locations.
  16. that is correct, it is the super high rpm that cause the failures. I still have an original on my other motor. no need to put a $500 damper on a $2000 engine....
  17. just go with what your budget allows... I went with the $500 damper because what is another $500 on a $10,000 motor.....
  18. I guess it depends if your car is going to be a trailer queen or you will be hot dogging it into the 7500+ rpm range. if 7500+ rpm is your deal then go with something that should not fail, this is what Dave Rebello told me. If a trailer queen then i would go factory. So I went with the BHJ race special L-series when Rebello built my 3.2L
  19. 10 gauge is the wire size that was used on the original - battery cable for the firewall ground.
  20. yes the head is thin on the bolts. Zcardepot.com has the sets.
