Roy's into stump broken horses now but i could find something for you and your camera skills. Skinny jeans...they make the "wheels" look bigger.

Car covers
I went with the black microfiber one. If I don't like it I'll cover the rarely driven blue 280 and order the BRE. Money's a little tight right now, I'm working on my rental house to make the 20 year old cutie and all her friends comfortable. They have pajama parties every night and I'm hoping to be invited.

What do think about the tight fit black one? Covercraft has it too. Or the BRE? Loose fit flannel like my Dad had on his Corvette. Nice cover.

Rev issue, driving issue
Borrow a vacuum gauge from a local chain store. They make you pay up front but won't charge when you return it. Loaner program they call it but you pay. Should be buy it program.

Look at the rubber on the pedals. Can't hide that wear.

Clutch squeal when running
The squeal goes away when you depress the clutch. Bad throw out bearing. Could be backwards or not pressed on correctly. My 280 whines because my dumb a s s pounded it on the collar myself. 240 is quiet. I paid my machinists $10 to press it on.

Advice for buying
240s, 260s have carbs. 280 are efi. That's a line you need to set. Carbs are best imho but an efi once it's working is trouble free mostly. I like the 280 out your 3 choices. Hold off another month and search everyday then decide. The bad ones will still be available but the good ones get gone quick.

Have you looked at the throttle position switch? They cut in around 2,500rpm. Up until then they're on the low side, rpm, contact. Then at 2500 they are on neither for a second. Then they'll click onto wide open. Lots of info on those. Just a bunch of reading. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-americamovil-us-revc&ei=2moWXf_gLqHm_Qb-3LY4&q=tps+classiczcars.com&oq=tps+classiczcars&gs_l=mobile-gws-wiz-serp.1.0.33i160l2.15674.26999..29083...0.0..0.160.1231.4j7......0....1.........41j33i299j30i10.a2JfS2XZEAA

If it's brand new I wouldn't do it. You'll have a brand new afm with a zip tyed plasic cover, not a good thing. ?

Car covers
When you recall, call me! CoverCraft has a nice one too but the BRE is tried and tested for many owners I've read. That black stretchy one asked if it's a single or double pocket so i need to call them direct. Their website is horrible, like a damn circus!

you can get a pressure gauge from Lowes in the pool section. It's for the pool filters pressure. https://www.lowes.com/pd/aqua-ez-pressure-gauge/3151541?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-lwn-_-google-_-lia-_-241-_-poolproducts-_-3151541-_-0&kpid&store_code=1640&k_clickID=go_1792976560_68785408469_346853782070_aud-299487635210:pla-416743622626_c_9012730&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrNyVgeyM4wIVChgMCh0LowYKEAQYASABEgLOcfD_BwE

have you pulled that black cover off and tried fingering the sweeper vane in the AFM? I bought one and that thing was stuck by spider webs. 10 minutes and i had a good running '76 for dirt cheap.

can't you just unhook the fuel hose or the 12v clip on to CSV? I guess the 12v clip would be easiest.

I can get the BRE for $189 https://www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=B&Product_Code=080A02&Category_Code=car_covers Or this tight fitting indoor black one that has some good reviews for $160 with a coupon code. It'd be a little harder to take off and on I think but I do like a tight fit. Giggity... https://www.carcovers.com/covers/cars/datsun/240z/1972/black-satin-shield.html#customer-reviews Opinions please.
