  1. AFM covers have clear silicone holding them from the factory, take it off and make sure the wiper and weight are moving freely. You really should check the fuel pressure as soon as you can. It'll save you money in the long run. Your TPS could be out of adjustment too. You should clean all the electrical connections associated with the EFI system, http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/electricalconnections/index.html. 4. Down here in the South we call them "Dent Doctors" and they get paid like doctors but what they do, like a doctor, is truly amazing. Their businesses are always around car auctions and they usually travel to car dealerships once a week. That would be a great career for a young man that's into cars.

Looking at that picture I see that the struts hadn't settled down yet. Looks much better this morning. Thank you all for the positive replies, I really like these wheels. I'll do a e-bay Feedback for Discount Tire, 5 stars and an A+. I'm thinking I may get 15" for the 240 as the 16"s look a little large, but man do they stick good!

If it's coming from the front of the motor I think you're on the right track. Do you have A/C? You could also pull the cam cover and check the tightness of the timing chain. Good luck!

My 2.5 exhaust from MSA is reversed from yours, offset in and center hole for tailpipe. It's tilted towards the gas tank and almost touches it but doesn't get too hot. I worried about that at first and was constantly checking it, didn't want all my work exploding. It's on a 280 though and the tanks are different but you might look and see a way to flip it. When I did mine a lot of people did it the same way, I asked because it could've gone either way. Here's a resonator I was going to get but I like loud. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-24215/ Read post #10 from Arne, he's the reason I put mine on that way. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/exhaust-s30/32026-msa-muffler.html
  11. That was my 280. It has the R200 which is bigger than your 240's R180. Fill it until it starts to come out the hole, if I recall correctly. Amazon.com has it the cheapest too
  12. I had the same problem with ones off e-bay. Went to my local motorcycle shop and bought those metal bands that tighten with a small tool like an old tuna can opener. They are made for a four wheeler's accordion boots and worked out great for me.
  13. A member here had me run a fuel pressure gauge up to the windshield wiper and zip tie it to the wiper. I could watch it as I drove.

My 280z has a fuse in one of the wires coming off the battery, could be that? here's some tings to look at...http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/electricalconnections/index.html It's called an EFI power connector in these pictures.
  16. I've wondered where Nissan came up with the 350Z from the 300Z. Now I know.
  17. I don't think $5,000 is too far off, good starting price.

So that step up is the faster lift? Does it wear down the rocker pads sooner?
  19. If it's the weight your concerned with quit racing for food and buy an aircraft gel battery.

The way I let off the pressure is to wrap a shop rag around the hose coming out of the top of the fuel filter up by the radiator. I've read of people smarter than I am, :stupid:, that put 12 volts onto the cold start valve and it lets the pressure off into the intake. Too much trouble for me.
  23. It's been removed :disappoin

65 psi is plenty, the OE Boschs put out 50 psi. Your Fuel Pressure Regulator will keep it down around 30psi. I've seen a lot of people use that pump you have, put it on and rebuild the OE one when you have time. You'll have to get creative when you hang it because it's smaller. If you could find some strips of rubber to shim it in I think it wouldn't be as loud. Maybe an old rubber floor mat?

Around here they call it "Bowlegged". Looks pretty silly to me, but to each his own right?
