  1. @rturbo 930 You're saying this is factory? I have a 280 downstairs but don't want to crawl under it to take a picture.
  2. Well I hate to say but that cars been hit. Silver is one of if not the hardest to touch up paint and the front gap on the passenger's door is pretty wide. See the difference in the paint of the door and the rear quarter in this picture. It's stance looks off too. Kind of bowed in the middle. Could have a newer front end? or rear? @Patcon could be better help than me. I just drive them.
  3. Not necessarily by the looks of the rest of the the underside. It makes me think someone took care of it or did the right thing instead of ignoring a problem. Most of them get damaged when people run over stuff, or jack them up in the wrong spots. It could be that some garage damaged them and had to repair their mistake. I think pictures of the floor pans under the floor mats would be helpful in determining the rust. If they look okay I would think the rails were boxed in to repair some type of damage? The roof holds these cars together, not so much those rails. If it has a sunroof somebody tried to sturdy up the car maybe. I'm just guessing. Look at the back of the roof above the small rear windows for any cracking. Here's a pic I have of my 240 with original paint job. I bought it of course!
  4. I remember your car. Good luck with the sale, sorry I can't help with pricing I bought mine when they were still cheap.
  5. I found a picture of the stock under body frame rails on one of the cars I had. The car you're looking at.
  6. Here's a good write-up on EFI to carbs to read over. He covers everything you'll need and it's very reader friendly.
  7. That's funny Zed Head! It's late o'here at my house but I watched it and got a good laugh. Thanks.
  8. Looks good too! I forgot about the overall.
  9. I'd leave it alone, less is best on cylinder head repairs I say. What the hell are we looking at here? I've never seen valves like that but I'm no mechanic.
  10. The best things happen early! Sometimes I stay up all night just to be early.
  11. Hell I'm thinking I'm older than you but you come up some deep hippie music and I scratch my head, put another stamp on my tongue.

  13. What a beatiful sight to see a lonely Z, it's not out to pasture, it's resting waiting...
  14. It took a few minutes but I remembered the Beatles rock song that made the needle skip.
  15. My first music was what my Mom had and it was albums of War, Chicago, and Elvis. Willie Nelson and Atlanta rhythm section. She had a ton of them. I played the cabinet tv/stereo so loud the needle would skip on the War album. I had the house to myself from 3 until 5pm. Oh the good ole days...
  16. Mine was done to match the dealer installed rear spoiler. I changed it back.
  17. Beatles or Elvis?
  18. Sitting here watching the tube and what do I see? A damn safari gold 240Z! (Beginning of the newest Nissan commercial)

Passenger's side is normal. Driver's side is backwards, lefty tighty, righty loosey
  20. Another good thing about going to the site on your phones web browser. I "HIDE" stuff all the time. Almost as much as I drink and post.
  21. The, what we call grandaddy, long legged spiders don't make the silk like nest that most other spiders make. Just an fyi from the southern US.
