Loss of acceleration when hitting gas hard
You can run a gauge to your windshield wiper under a partially closed hood. Zip-tie the hose and gauge to the wiper and go for a ride.

How To Adjust Choke Cable In A 72 240Z
It's this little plastic switch with a small button that moves in and out in relation to your choke handle arm. All the way foward shouldn't have any contact with the button, therefore turning the light off. Make damn sure there's no contact with the handle and the little button when it's pushed foward (no choke) and you should be good.

Are you setting the float valves with the lids upside down like the "Just SUs" dvd or right side up and float hanging?

.030 oversize ITMs...for a 2.4
I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I'm pulling off a huge conspiracy for all my TikTok followers with 6 piston cups. Stop by anytime. If I'm not home my cameras and neighbors will surely let me know. I'm about an hour from Barber Motorsports Park. We could make a day out of it.

I see you know about ripping around. Those 1 liter bikes are hard on the rear tires.

My '72 has the temp needle on the right side leg of the M in TEMP as long as I've driven it. That's perfect in my experience. Mine never feels overly hot. I did the pointer temp gauge too, 175 F, every time.

Z's on BAT and other places collection
Recklessly driving around eating their pets. In Ohio, a new anti-hooning bill was signed into law in July 2024. The law increases penalties for hooning from a traffic ticket to a felony, and allows law enforcement to ticket spectators. Drivers who flee from law enforcement can be charged with a third-degree felony, which could result in jail time.

Is it possible to lubricate a steering rack?
Isn't this pic on the passenger's side? Looks like the alternator I'm seeing. Look on the other side where the steering rod connects. Maybe you'll find it. Good luck!

Is it possible to lubricate a steering rack?
Here's my plastic plug before the zerk fitting If you could take the fitting off the end of the hose on a grease gun and get it under the accordion sleeves and pump it while working the wheel back and forth you would get some on the teeth of the rack I think.

Z's on BAT and other places collection
$10,500 is pretty cheap. The seller admits he didn't know squat about the car so it was a gamble. I got mine from the same type guy but for $2,000. Back in the good old days, 2015.

1973 Rebuild
The nice paint on the block makes me think it's been rebuilt by someone that cared enough to get the correct color. I'd guess it's most likely a decent motor if it turns freely. $500 minimum IMHO No carbs, $300.

I've removed material off my rockers to weigh the same but if I'm reading that right he's making your's a one off type thing. You'll be a lifelong customer.

Still struggling with car at idle after 8 years
You could try one. It would not hurt anything. I had one on a 2 cycle dirt bike that would foul the plug when I didn't keep the RPMs up high enough.

Restoration of BringaTrailer 240z - HLS30-35883
I opened the rad lower drain and put a hoe's pipe in the the top of the radiator. I didn't have my carb linkage stops in the right orientation and as soon as I cranked it shot up to about 3 grand and I shot my pants. You'll have less stress as you're more methodical than me. Good results await you!

240Z WILL NOT run right
Similar to my problem. Could not figure out why it wouldn't hit right off then after pulling my few hairs out I realized the lid screws were loose and the float bowls were evaporating themselves dry. Add another to my simple problems that I over looked. I would be a terrible doctor but the insurance companies would love it.
