There's a joke floating around about covid-19 but you probably won't get it.

Birmingham just closed dining rooms. Take outs and drive through only. We're an hour north of there but most likely will happen here Wednesday. The waitresses are all of the sudden sucking up to the girls that cook, wanting to help them. It's funny, they normally won't speak to the cooks that are a little older. I'll start doing deliveries when they shut our dining room. The drive through is booming. Separate building thank goodness. I hope you and your employees get through this asap.

The health department sent out an email this morning saying we may be forced to close the dining area. Take outs only from the big restaurant and our drive through business can still operate. So I'm about to get some socially distant Z time. Yay!

If the SUs are getting their proper fuel you can't beat them. I finally got mine right and cannot make them stumble for anything. Believe me I've tried.

My 5sp in my 240 is from a 2+2 zx. It's the older B. Not Borg Warner.

Mine gets 75 mph at around 2,000 2,200 rpm. I hardly ever use 5th gear. That's the B transmission all the early 5 speeds are. They're tough!

I have the wide B that came in my early '77 and like it a lot. After you get it back in the car put Redline manual fluid in the tranny and Redline 90 for the differential. It magically disappears those whining noises. Like Captain Corona says, drive it and I think you'll be happy too. That's a good transmission. 240260280's tech tips on the transmission is where I learned that stuff. I bought my Redline off amazon.com since nobody stocks it around here.
