$1,500 for a car, no matter what it is deal in my opinion if it runs and drives out smoothe.
  9. Not a zx owner but a car owner with wiper washers. Tootpick in the nozzle then check the old lines for cracks. Unhook the nozzles and plug the lines. Look for leaks? Spitballing only. Good luck.
  10. I realized the inner spring was free of the outer ones. Got them all the same just eyeballing. So far so good. I think that's the cause of lash pads jumping out too.
  11. You will be very glad you went.
  12. I have an outstanding arrest warrant in Branson so I'm not going to poke that bear. We have a very different opinion of the meaning of "inspiration". I went up their Inspiration Tower and took a whizz off the top. They didn't see it as an inspiration, it was indecent exposure and public intoxication to them. July Fool's Day. I'm zapped from this heat and humidity, most likely run off the road and crash if I tried to drive 600 miles. Nashville for me too @Captain Obvious
  13. I saw this Zed when I was figuring out if I had an A. (sorry but I don't) http://xenonzcar.com/s30/cams.html
  14. That looks just like my first Z! A '76 with Western aluminium wheels. That's the one with the stuck wiper vane in the AFM I got for $1,000 back in 1986. Cranked and idled fine but wouldn't take any more fuel. Took it to a mechanic and in 30 minutes he had it running like new. Charged me $20.
  15. I bought my N42 from a local machine shop that had it after the owner never came back to get it. They'd had it for 10 years inside a plastic bag with about an inch of styrofoam on the bottom protecting those 2 valves. I've got 3 or 4 heads stored on top of a piece of foil faced insulation with valve covers on each.

We learn the hard way. Bet that won't need deduced again. Glad you fixed it. Cliff
  17. Drunk on a Sunday morning. USA women's big win and now IMSA's on.
  18. They're tough to get off the first time or two. I have to leave the wing nut bolts in and remove the cover with the filter still inside the cover. Have you ever had it off?
  19. Thanks for the shout out!
  20. This may help get an answer. @jhm
  21. Here's the write up I went by for my combo switch. Be careful bending those metal tabs, I broke one or two. http://www.kamikazeracing.org/dl/ZTech/Rebuild_240Z_combo_switch.pdf Some photos I took.
  22. Seems like I've read $300 for a nice one. The '75 and '76 efi tanks are much more scarce, more $$$.
  23. One of mine is silver, I guess the 240? It is the pcv hose right?
