Going to pull the radiator today so i can flush it out

Thanks travel'n. The motor itself just needs to be gone through, My headlights dont work but all of the other lights do so im going to investigate the fuse box and then if thats not the case im going to investigate wiring. though it might just be burnt out bulbs

Got mine running today and took it for a short 5 min test drive

Well again i cant edit my posts, New update. I got it running, it took her a couple minutes to warm up after i put some gas into the tank and just a tiny bit into the carbs. She sounds really well but i need to get the carbs re-synchronized and re-built. I took her for a short test drive in the complex I have her in and well the brakes work really well, im not use to having no play in the pedal. the clutch feels brand new. Ill update the to-do and done list once i can edit my posts again P.S. She purrs beautifully even in this revived state

Here she is: I said I would get one soon and I picked this 72 up for 1000$ yesturday, 100% my own cash payed for it and Im really excited to finally have one. It has an L28 motor swap already and to me its perfect, i couldnt have asked for a better project. I got the hood latch to work so it now latches closed and it also holds itself up now which those bars are a pain to put in. Done: Hood opener Cleaned out the interior To-do: Put gas in it and a battery to see if itll start Oil/fluid change Find origional key blank and keychain I plan on doing all the cosmetics last such as paint and rims just incase I drop something on my fenders.

I was stoked when i saw that one but its in colorado or atleast thats the only place we could fine called palisade was in colorado. I found a wrecked 240z for 100$ Im going to look at it to see if its only cosmetic damage and not any frame damage. The search continues, Blue your a huge help and i appreciate it

Im not quite sure how to edit my posts but bad news, that Z has been bought about 2-3 months ago the guy just never removed it from craigslist. So my search restarts yet again

Sadly the one Im looking at needs TLC and doesnt run. Seems like a great start to a project, what does everyone think about it. I may go look at it this weekend. I have alot of tools because my father owns a do it all shop for cars and off-road vehicles. so I have alot of different tools i can use if needed. Ive started my reaserch but there are things to the Z when i get one i am going to change. Most of it is suspension and body but the motor will be done one thing at a time. The suspension and body are first priority The Z

Wow, Thank you. Ill be doing that. I have a plan for the Z im just stuck on two things. What motor to put in it and what color to paint it. Even though i dont own one yet I still have a build plan

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, I am trying but with everything as it is. Work is hard to find but I made 100$ in two days so the Z fund is slowly going up. I just need to be patient. I'm hopeful to find that December manufactured Z because my birthday is in December and it would be nice as a sentimental thing

Hi, everyone. I'm Darkwolf and I'm looking to buy a 240z and build it as my project car because I'm addicted to them. I'm young but I do love the Z. Ive got about 800$ saved to buy a Z and well im waiting to find the One and save up a bit more for it. Im hoping to buy a Z by the end of this year, a December of '69 manufactured Z would be my dream but im ok with the 1970-3 models aswell. Ill post more about myself when I get back from lunch
