The E88 was on the early 240Z and 260Z cars according to the head/cam spreadsheet I have, with the E31 being the first head used. No, the cars have no limited slip by default. There are upgrades to R160/180/200 LSD though, but its not a 100% straightforward process, nor is it that easy finding the parts.

You can have it now for only "one meelion dollars...."
  3. If your going to stay NA get the F54 block which has flattops. If you want more power + driveability go turbo, if they are $250 also heck, I would have considered the same thing plus the turbo's T5 would be nice (better OD).

Sure, but its 1000 pounds or more lighter than newer technology If you want FI, you can upgrade, even in crappy California the 240Z is smog exempt.

Hey dude, not sure your getting my emails, but your PM box is oft full so I can never get one through to you! By default when you send a PM it saves it in SENT folder, which will contribute of course to your box size, or else your just monsterously popular... Anyhow, please email me as that seems easier. Thanks!

It sure looks like a nice car, and with those 'beefy' tires I was VERY VERY tempted to get it for myself, but I decided to stick to the 72-73 plan, and found a local car with a few mods for $1500 with a perfectly straight body... If the 260 runs well I'd go for it, IF thats your cup of tea.

Yes, we can get front clips/"half cuts" to the states, I've seen RB stuff though in the $6-$7,000 USD area, forget it I remember the NA VG30 hitting 222 HP eventually, earlier on it was even less.

The ID of the strut housing on the 240 versus the 280 is about 2/10" different (somewhere there abouts), so yes they will not work. Various other struts have been used on the 240 that "fit", but most if not all of them require sectioning the strut housing, which means lowering the car as well.

I have some R200 stuff that I need to complete, I've got the rear, a mount, and the driveshaft, so I believe all I need are: * Stub axles (left/right) * Rear moustache bar If anyone has these I need the above 2 parts, and if I need the front member also please let me know.

Yep, it depends on the condition and the market, which will be seasonal and stroke of luck as well. Look at www.traderonline.com and check it out, he may need to wait 1-3 months or so to find the buyer that will pay his price, it all depends on timing/luck and condition...

Congrats Eric I should have asked you, about your front air dam setup, it looked adjustable? Where/how did you fix this up? This would be great for track stuff...

Tripple carbs would be nice for all out race, but those other upgrades are going to net more power for you overall, the fuel system is not all that bad stock. Take some time to learn about the cars and you can do those upgrades that seem obsqure to you now. Header and exaust would maybe be a good place to start, when you have some cashola.
