Whats your most outragous kill story?
There is power to be had out of an L24 it all really depends on how you want to put it to the test and or ground. The Z was never ever a drag racer at all, but in the light of numerous autox victories, I say the L24 and so on down the line, are powerful in they're own right.

finally some decent pics of the Z
I would do the bumpers too. I never did like the matching color bumpers, seems to much of one color. Satin black on the bumpers would make it really stand out. Otherwise to me it is a very nice and clean looking car.

idle setting on 83zxt
Jfairlady is correct with the exception of a few things. It is a flat head screwdriver you will need, as well as a 8mm socket or wrench to loosen the lock nut. Is there a reason why your car isnt idling properly as the ZX has a device which basically doesn one thing, keeps the idle at 750 rpms. Make sure you do not have any vacumn leaks. You might also want to check your timing and your pcv.

Spark plug wires
Unless you are really upgrading your entire ignition system I cant see why you would need to spend the money on Nology wires. You can get NGK wires part number NE61, there is a guy on ebay that sells them for 19.95, dont know the name but if you just search the part number and NGK wires Im sure it will come up. Ive been buying from him, service is fast and excellent. For plugs I would use either BPR6ES or BPR5ES. If you would like to buy the real stock parts, then dont go to MSA, go to http://www.courtesyparts.com/ , its a Nissan dealer, they have everything you need for complete stock and performance parts. I have found them much better to deal with too over MSA as well. Also you will get Nissan parts not whatever MSA puts into theyre box and sells to you from local stores.

Anybody able to contact Danny's Datsuns?
You would be better off going to Roger at Zbarn.com, been in the business for years, great qaulity parts and well trusted. A bit hard to get a hold of, but well worth it.

Proof of the C110!!
That may be true but sega cant hold a candle to the GT series of racing games, they are by far above and beyond all other racers.

New Minilite/Wantanabe style rim
If you do a search on google for ROTA wheels you will find that they have a design very similar to the Panasport wheel that is very popular and it is much less then they are. Good whell and good looking to boot.

electrical problem
I would agree with JZM, check things out first and know what your dealing with, make it easier to find what needs repair.

"Wierd Datsun of the Month"
Well that 620 or whatever it is isnt that attractive, but the rendition of that yellow car up above, looks like what a 510 would look like today. I did like that

turbo AFM?
If you have the cam to use the extra air then yes it help you out but helping the engine breathe better, but that is with the extra that comes along with it, ie exhaust to let that extra air escape. So if you are basically running a stock engine it isnt with the time to upgrade unless you are planning a build later.

im new here....quick question
Some say it is, others say it isnt, in my experience if your are in continuous hot area, then you would need it, a way to alleviate this is to dump the stock rail. I did for a nice aluminum rail and have yet to have a problem with my turbo 240.

Oil Cooler?
Being down under I wouldnt know where you would go, here in the states though there is Summit racing, they have several adaptable sets that you could use. Maybe you should or could look to a S130 automatic turbo oil cooler as your choice, they seem to be well made and would most likely fit.
