Thanks for the help guys. I don't think I am going to paint it, but if I do I will leave the lip unpainted. I am going to be taking this slow as I don't want it to look bad. I am about to start taking the stock peices off so I can see what all I have to do to get it mounted. So is there any particular place to put the tape or just like one strip in the spots that contact the body? Wow wonder what I was thinking when I spelled it like that. Oops.

Well I am having problems uploading the videos of the car but here are some pictures of the car.

I have been lurking around here for a little while reading up on many different topics. Finally got my car washed and figured I would introduce my self and my car. I have a 1971 240z, mostly original from what I can tell. I have had the car a few months now and have finally started doing some stuff to it. Had a twice pipe system installed with just two small glasspacks in the rear of the car. It's a little too loud so I will be getting a second set installed in the middle of the car to quiet it down just a bit. Aside from that I have just been doing some maintance things that need to be done. I will have some videos up some of the exterior and interior of the car soon. Thats about it just want to say hey and thanks I have already found a ton of information that has helped with many of the small issues that I have had so far.

Just ordered a airdamn from MSA and while looking at the instructions I noticed they talk about tape being applied to the part. What kind of tape and where is this tape applied? I am really looking forward to getting this on just want to make sure I get it right. I searched but could find the answer hopefully I didn't miss it. Thanks in advance for the help. Oh yea this is a on a 71 240z and the urathane airdamn.
