The newer (+60s) Jags appear to have the same 8mm x 1.25 thread pattern as the 240z's. Anyone tried one?

In 1971 in San Antonio, I could either buy a MGB w/hardtop for $3400 with immediate delivery or a 240z with no guaranteed delivery. Bought the MGB, had a great time...now the 240z!

Well those temps are similar to what I am getting at the T stat housing. I just put a bottle of water wetter in last weekend. I am running with outside temps in the mid 90s.

Are you driving in mid90s temperature?

Would anyone know if a 260/280 radiator shroud would fit the 240z?

Just put a traditional thermometer in the radiator when the gauge was showing the above reading and it showed 180 degrees. Also checked the fan clutch and it appears normal. My guess is the gauge is off!
