Glass Fiber Bumper installation
Working on fixing glass fiber bumper bracket. I purchased body mount from EuroDat a bit long ago, and finally, start working on the bumper. The bracket is really stable and fit very well. Thanks Chas! I purchased fiber bumper from local craigslist long time ago... The bracket on the bumper side does not fit to the mount at all. Thus, I removed the bracket and left them for awhile... I weld bolts on the bracket and painted. Put a few glass fiber sheet and fix it. Add more sheets to make it durable. Test fitting looks good ? I have to think about what I should do on the side blots. I don't have a hole on the side of the body...

Worn out key re-cut
Thanks for the info! I still have original key with the code engraved as A1234 format. I will check with locksmith to cut the new key once ebay spair key arrived. By the way, I love Dave Lee Roth! When I was in Sendai, Japan, he came for Dave Lee Roth band tour :-) When I saw him next time was, at Las Vegas. He was a comedian at that time..... The last time I saw him at "A Different Kind of Truth tour" at San Jose, CA. He couldn't JUMP!

Engine crank no start
Welcome to classic Z forum. " I ended up going under the car and checking the voltage at the fuel pump while cranking and I had 0 volts going to the pump itself." Since you already identify the problem that you don't get any voltage, there might be shorting wire for the fuel pump somewhere. The wire to the fuel pump runs passenger side between seat and door. flip the carpet to check the wire. And as basic information, check FSM. http://www.xenonzcar.com/s30/fsm.html BE Body Electrical.pdf is the one you need to check. You can find relay at passenger side kick panel.

Worn out key re-cut
I'm wondering if anyone successfully re-cut key based on the key code from worn out original key? Someone said Dealer only store 10 years of data in the computer, the others say using VIN number lockthmith can re-cut new key. http://forums.nicoclub.com/key-cutting-by-vin-t301243.html My key is worn out and it easily falls off while running engine. I have spare ignition module, but I want to use the original key for door lock and ignition. There is a code on the key one letter and 4 digit number. I wonder whether I can re-cut based on the code somewhere. By the way, this key in the photo is from junkyard old 260z. You can't steal my car if someone successfully re-cut key for this :-)

Upgrade electric system, alternator, Fusible Links, remove External Voltage regulator
Red light is brake warning light. Brake is not done yet... I used regular SPAL power window kit. The lock to roll up feature is from Viper alarm with Window module 529T. https://www.amazon.com/Install-Essentials-529T-Window-Module/dp/B0009SWLEQ

Upgrade electric system, alternator, Fusible Links, remove External Voltage regulator
I got help at Hybrid Z site to figure out issues. First of all, the charge warning lamp was out. Then, voltmeter connection was wrong. I need to connect to the 12V constant. Here is the final schematic.

Upgrade electric system, alternator, Fusible Links, remove External Voltage regulator
I end up ammeter / voltmeter swap like this with CS144 Altnator. I still have 3 issues. I can't figure out what is wrong. My battery and alternator are brand new. Charge warning lamp won't turn on. Voltmeter is not work. This Alternator is not charging the battery. When running engine, the battery shows around 12.20V. It should showsaround 14.xxV Here is the original Ammeter schematic for '75 280z. Here is '77 280z Voltmeter schematic. Could someone advise me? Thanks in advance.

'75 280z can't get spark
Thanks Jeff, Chas! I was so dumb. I waste whole 2 months to try to figure out this... Now I'm so happy all my wiring is done except alternator charge lamp. '75 280z had an ammeter instead of a voltmeter. I swap '78 Voltmeter. Also I swap with CS-140 alternator. I need to double check wiring for charging lamp.
