  6. Hi New-to-240z, You are missing so many important parts. The small hole on the opposite side of the MC's bleeder valves is to put a special size screw that stop rear brake piston. You better get another 15/16 BMC or brand new Willwood 1" BMC.
  7. Oops. courtesyparts.com doesn't have mainshaft nuts (Parts#32354-A7400 NUT) I order it Everything Nissan.com (Pinnacle Nissan-Infiniti) They just send back refund. Then, I order it Nissan Parts Cheap They don't have it neither... Now I'm ordering it to dealer direct parts.com and nissan parts connection.com

  13. Thanks beerman Pete. This car has been parked 10 years and I started fixing. Previous owner did not disclose this issue. Do I have to remove engine in order to separate tranny and engine? Thanks, tamo3
  14. I just replace Clutch Master and slave cylinder and bleed them with HFT Pneumatic Brake Fluid Bleeder I notice something strange. The slave cylinder is fully extended. No wonder whenever I push clutch pedal, it was too loose. Looking at FSM, I could not find diagnostic what's wrong with this symptom. Do I need to remove engine and transmission to investigate release bearing and clutch folk? I just want to drive my 280z before deep dive onto engine and trans Thanks for your advice in advance, tamo3 '75 280z with 4 speed trans.

I think 240z can open hood wider then 280z. Maybe because of avoiding hitting fat bumper, 280z cannot open hood wider. I'm not sure the design of the hinge is different from 240z and 280z. Lots of people remove fat bumper and here is a tip for opening wider. Just remove one bolt on each side of hinge. You can open hood 90 degree now:D This tip is from kazuhix's blog http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/430350/blog/29671163/
  16. Maybe you need replace spring at first place.

I was surprised there are so many RB powered 510. A couple of really clean Fairlady Z. Bunch of 86, RX7 and Cellica. I've never seen Honda z600 in US before. Gold&Black 240z racer car is so impressive. I couldn't figure out where was brake and crutch master cylinder in the car. Black LS1 Z is totally killer looking race car. Blue & White stripe Z has really nice side exhaust. I wanted see behind the hood again. Brownish gold '73 Z is really clean original condition. I wonder whether that one is restored or just maintained original condition.

I don't know about ACE, nor I don't have parts number with me, sorry. I suggest bring other side of the door lock pin to ACE to find the same size of the pin.

You can buy the pin at OSH.
