I just paint my interior panel using SEM 38363 Sand Free SEM 15013 Landau Black Color Coat I learned "How To" from Stacy David's GearZ. First of all, wash the panel with TSP. Then apply SEM Sand Free. Before, it get dry, spray on Black Color coat lightly. Apply 3 coat, 5minutes a part. 2nd coat. 3rd coat. 3rd coat. 3rd coat. Comparing with cheap Rest-Oleum Semi-Gross Black, The Landau Black looks great! SEM Landau Black is best black color for interior. Just for those panel, I'm running out of one can. I need to buy one more can for door panel and center console. Once I fixed cracked dash, I'm going to paint same color too.

It's up to your goal. Restore and sell the car higher price? Want to enjoy driving? I sold my '72 240z and bought '75 280z. I'm not the collector and enjoy restoring 280z by myself. Since it's not smog required car, I can do whatever I want engine swap :-) if I want. I'm happy with my 280z.

  11. Nice job!!! I have a few comments, hope you don't mind. London Auto Services, Ltd. Top log image is confusing. I expect that clicking country flag will change localize language. Menu is not consent and the menu order is ?. Don't understand relation to the submenu. At contact section, clicking email address does not do anything. (Expect launch mail program to craft new email) TZCCVA Well done for customizing WP! I like the way of organize site. If I were you, I rather have link to new blank page for each PDF links at The NEWZ section. Also add PDF icon in front of each link to make it obvious. For the each contents bin, it always show "FEATURED" on right side bin and "Category" Menu on left side bin. That's too much redundant and annoying. Should hide it. Lastly, they are not responsive web design. That's current web trend....

Thanks E-tek. Look forward to seeing the final results. In the mean time, I want to see more pictures. The color looks like a bit lighter. but some area shows purplish blue. Can you post more photos? I like this level of dark metallic blue But this level of metallic blue is also look nice. i wonder mixing with BSP210 - Midnight Blue with BSP204 - Deep Blue (Metallic) can make the color darker easily... Regards, Tamo3

Thanks E-tek for the detail of explanation. I used 2K epoxy primer as you mentioned. When I read review of this paint at Amazon, a lot of people complain about clear. How many time did you paint clear? Thanks, tamo3

Thanks for the info! Based on a lot of people's recommendation I was planning to paint my car with PPG. I bought Epoxy primer ESU470 a couple month ago. I haven't spray epoxy primer yet. Do you think if I use this Epoxy primer and use Dupli-Color's "new" Paint Shop paint system will messed up?

Looks like HONDA is preparing 1.5l 132hp sport car to replace S2000. Sounds good, but the design is not my taste. S30 is 1000 times better looking.
  21. You made great decision. I love the color you choose. Stormy Blue Mica. Does it require 3 coating? Base, pearl, clear? I'm stripping paint on my Z and I haven't decide whether I should paint white or Deep metallic blue.
  22. Hi Chas, The two brackets are used for mounting horn. I'm rebuilding 240z front grille now. Sandblasted and power coated as matte black.

  24. tamo3 replied to RoCa's post in a topic in Help Me !!
280z and 240z are NOT same chassis. Some 280z interior parts can fit 240z, but not all. Drive train is OK if your 240z is newer than '71 I guess.
  25. Here is my progress of 240z bumper mount over the weekend.
