  1. I search more and I found out good info. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/91432-su-identification-parts-wanted/page__p__865408__fromsearch__1#entry865408 http://www.zcarz.us/TechnicalInformationPageCarburation.htm Just realized that front and rear carb the float level is different for '72 SU carb. Auto and manual transmission is also different float level. More and more I learn from this site. Thanks, Tamo3
  2. Thanks zKars. I was looking for any data point, common knowldge of the threshold of the original sticking tip valve, like Ztheraphy has for their own boll roller valve instead of actually testing valve. I will try it out. Thanks, tamo3
  3. I'm just rebuilding my '72 SU carb. I bought Just SU DVD and flowing instruction for adjustment, ripping parts. However, written ands bunch of screenshots on this thread is really useful while rebuilding SU. Thank you Blue. By the way, I have question for float adjustment. On the ZTheraphy Just SU video, they use different valve from the original one. The original float bowl valve is using sticking up tip value and ZTheraphy float bowl value is boll rolling valve like below. Just SU video explain that need to keep consistent distance of 9/16 (.55") from the lid to the float. With original float bowl valve, I would like to find out how high is good for the adjustment. In other word, how much pushing tips of the valve will start dripping fuel to the bowl. Does anyone have suggestion? Thanks, tamo3

I think the distance between brake booster mount hole and crutch hole on firewall is different. '73 is wider than '72.
  6. Looks good progress and nice looking body paint! What is your estimate timeframe to complete this? Do you mind if I ask for the cost of rebuilt head?

I have a future plan to install 280z 2+2 seats or z32 rear seats onto my '72 240z since I have little kids. I think if I remove the boxes behind from seat, it looks almost as same as 2+2 like this. However, I haven't seen photo or real one that none 2+2 240z/260z/280z installed 2+2 seats yet. If someone has photos, please let me know. Thanks, tamo3
  9. Thanks Chase & Mike W for the feedback. Reading Amazon review, most customer recommend to buy better bristles brush and not to use the brush comes with the kit. Other reviewer mentioned G2 is more durable compare with this Dupli-color.
  10. How about this one? Did anyone try this? http://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-BCP400-Red-Brake-Caliper/dp/B000B6AF80/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1333993527&sr=1-2
  11. Nice weather at Easter weekend @ SF Bay Area. I wish I can finish up my car to start driving soon.
  12. I also got Carter GP-4070, but still haven't install yet. Is there any quiet electric fuel pump recommendation?
  13. Learn from this thread and got weather strap from Junkyard. Pick 'N Pull charged $2.49/ft.
  14. Good to know! Thanks!
  15. You can buy DOOR WEATHERSTRIP from $20~ from Black Dragon. What is the benefit to use KIA's weatherstrap since it's more expensive? http://www.blackdragonauto.com/features/z/ZDT3.htm
