They were prepaid half down then the order was placed with RS Watanabe in Japan. 3 months later here they are. They are R Type Watanabe 8 spoke *Front 16x8.5 -6 225-50-16 *Rear 16x9.5 -19 245-45-16 These are RS-8 (I don't think they make an RS 9) Here are my R Type Watanabe's

Yea they are frozen and I haven't messed with them. When it gets painted fender mirrors are going on..

What site? They are painted from the factory when they made them not powder coated. They match my over fenders perfect (gunmetal) as the body will be painted factory silver (or Mercedes silver).

I have no idea, they were on the Z when I bought it. They are some type of billet mirrors that has a screw on the point to adjust the glass. I will be replacing those with fender mirrors. Joe

What I am trying to achieve is to have the ultimate old school JDM look without sacrificing ride quality and not hacking the rear quarters up to make my wheel and tire package fit. In Japan, when they run big, wide wheels they stiffen up the rear suspension to eliminate rear squat so that the tires don't rub. I am looking to achieve the same goal, but tighten it up incremental. This will accommodate my L28ET buildup :) I purchased the wheels from Joji at www.wheelchoice.com for $2300 w/ lug nuts, locks and center caps.

Thank you, my point exactly!!! I guess it was a liability thing or that they didn't know what the hell they were doing. Finding the right person proves them wrong. I plan on driving by once I get the fronts mounted to prove a point.
