Triple carb airboxes/heat shields
I'd look at what the performance cars of our family did. I'd like a ps30 style airbox.

I've fortune to have some 14x8 to use, however I think 15x8 would be a good option? less weight, more retro?

Datsun-240z Vs Fairlady-z432
Hi Kats, any update with your amazing cars?

any 2.7ish owners?
I do already have a 290f from Schneider, that might have to go in initially, just to save some costs, i'm looking at a kameari 'cross mission' gearset for the box on it. once I've ran it on the dyno I'll see where the drop off is. I've a feeling it'll be enough. I'm sure i'll have a 1000miles of ironing out other niggles and getting the setup right before the missing rpm bothers me too much.

Thanks, I've got an ATI damper now also. I'm thinking a 300deg cam, about 560 lift.

You just can't match the look of proper watanabe's.

Stroker 3.1
I'd go the other way and say stay with carbs. Yes they're not as easy to setup, cause more hassle etc, however they're part of the car, its a classic car, the engine bay just looks better with carbed setup. pops/bangs/fuel smell are just part of the fun.

Stainless steel hard brake and fuel lines vs standard steel hard linesl
Why do you think they're not fitted as standard? Only takes one thing, a small knock, a little force on install creating stress spots, vibration due to fun type use. Its your call.

stainless can crack due to vibration.

New Fujitsubo Exhaust System to be Released
i'll get you a correct english measurement once i've finished moving the floor in there

New Fujitsubo Exhaust System to be Released
sean, i've just measured the spare z3m coupe centre section i've got(cat section), pipe work is quite massive. What seems to be wrong is that the American importer for the system doesn't fully clarify what the system will fit and doesn't make reference to the newer system that offers a better fit and better performance V's the older system.

what you need is to make a full twin pipe system using your race-sport header.
- L28 Stroker Build - I need your advice :-)

New Fujitsubo Exhaust System to be Released
Why not if they've already made the pressings etc? I'm trying to work out the positives of routing that section so far apart and then back together. the only one I can think of would be a few cm of clearance? You need to remember that there's roll hoop/cage mountings left in lots of cars, unused, plus all the other little bits. could it mean we've all got a single part of 432r in our cars?

would it be a fair guess that the 2 U indentations were designed when a twin outlet exhaust was considered(either side of the car).

Diameter lenghth so many variables. the sb50b32 is a good setup though. for that application.

The other thing is a 320bh s50b32 does it on less than 63mm pipework. I’ve a z3m coupe centre in my garage to measure

I've no idea, works on 3.2 ltr cars.

The twin pipe setup is something that works with an IL6, all the performance bmw IL6's have the same setup. I guess its down to port scavenging. should be good for upper midrange?
