I had the same problem years ago on my 76 and if your car is solid enough don't part it just go with a weber set up I still have them on the car and it runs great

I was at Harrys U pull it today in west hazelton Pennsylvania they have a 83 280zx in there and its not really rotted just weathered but was complete with a really crappy whale tail on it it was a 1983 T top 5 speed car motors still in it as is the interior no its not a turbo but I got the T tops, trans and rear from the car, they are med on their prices but you have to get there quick cars get stipped fast there and are usually crunched in a month to make room for new arrivals and it still has its spoked mags on it as well best of luck guys

Not many z guys left in my area and I don't have my dad to ask anymore I have his old 74 260z I got my hands on a 82 block from his collection and I have several e31 heads ,n42 heads e 88 heads but I really want to build something cool I know you can put 280 valves in e31's with some machine shop help but can the motor run with the e31 head on it on pump gas as the flat top pistons etc, I have heard talk about the compression going to high for pump fuel but is there a way this can be done please let me know also if someone knows were I can get a 3 piece rear duck tail fiberglass spoiler please let me know I had one on my 76 280z but can't remember were I got it from anymore
