ive taken 4 tail light garnishes off and 3 of them had threads that would spin. One i managed to get vice grips on thread and undo nut, subsequently stuffing the thread, and the other 2 i just used a grinder

Going to be a big change in this project. I won the 4 door that was on eBay! In primer, body work done, disk brake rear etc. can't wait to get stuck in
  10. that was for sale over a year ago. does any one know why it didnt sell. Seems so cheap for one that has body work done and another complete car. I really want to buy it but im a bit suss

mine has been badged as gt. doors, grille and sides WERE but gt badges were supposadly stolen. From what i researched only a handfull of the earliest models were badged as gt. the rest are GL.

oh really. thats good. nothing has to be organised to release them? as in, its a simple enough process to let them know NOT to ship when ive bought an item. Better start bidding then!

how does that work tho? arnt they differnt sellers and be coming from differnt places?

nice! Another question for people. With import monster, how are alot of people are getting numbers of items from japan, are you getting them combined shipping? from differnt sellers? how? because say for a badge i want, its going to cost me $80 to ship and its not worth it for one item

im definatly liking the rear end without the centre badge. ive got 3, so i might weld one up and just have the one badge like qwik

is it a matter of looking around? a starting bid on one door handle is 250 bucks, yet tripple carbs start at 50.

how do you go with yd. Do you use import monster? and what do you type in. i noticed some one posted c110 in japanese or something to get the best results. and do most post to aust?

Sweet yeah that's what I thought. Cheers guys. Just seems I can get hold of coupe parts but can't find 4 door stuff for the life of me
  22. tez240k posted a post in a topic in 240K Skyline

so at the moment, my old man is helping me by cutting the rust out. once we have that completed i can get it to my house, and i can start the rest of the body work. All the doors can be repaired except for the drivers rear. Its had the style line pushed in and cant repair it. So in need of another door! My latest ideas after doing some research is to maybe try and sell the flat top carbs, and buy a set of Ztherapy round top su's. sounds like it will be better off in the long run. It will complete the setup when i rebuild the motor shortly. Im also thinking i will prob get the bumpers straightened and re chromed. next big job is cutting the rust out the wheel well, and replacing the whole section. i will put up pics
