would any one have a pic how the boot torsion bars go on to pop the boot up .i cant seem to get them in the right pos:mad::mad:

well ive meet a couple of these guys in tas and these c110 and c210,s on there way to the middle east not the usa or japan.

yet they expect to buy them here for peanuts

a lot of these overseas buyers want the 240k coupes for the prices they were paying 10 years ago witch was bugger all .a restored coupe is worth 20,000 easy and if u dont want to pay these prices maybe u guys should be looking else were for these cars .i live in Tasmania and have owned several 240k,s over the years .10 years ago there was plenty of parts here in tas and prices were reasonable.now i cant even get the simplest of parts .the reason a number of overseas buyers collecting every part and car they can filling shipping containers and sending them overseas mainly to arab states if u want to sea how theses car a treated there take a look a u tube.

no there the trim rubbers im looking for a pic of the one that holds the roof lining on

would anyone have a pic of the door seals that run around the door opening to the roof .i need a pic of the ones that attach to the car not the trim .thanks

i do have pics some were of the rust repairs .both back quarter panels and door seals were full of rust as-well as the real window surround and bits here and there it been a lot of work to get to this point .

adzmax i would be happy to get hold of any indicators .

bmw hot rod red .was going to be blue but id seen a couple that with the colour that i was going to go so i went something a bit different .parts was a hard thing ebay gumtree and mates.im still chaseing a few bits such as the indicators for the front guards and indicators for the bumper .

heres a few pics of my coupe ive been working on for a bit over a year or so .it had a lot of rust both rear quarter panels around the entire rear window as well as the door seals and boot . it is now rust free.the coupe is under high fill and about to be painted .i will post more pics later this week after top coat .

do u think there a good carb.a mate has a set of su,s so i have that option as well

hi guys ive got a chance to pick up a set of of triple solex carbs with out linkages or manifold for 100 dollars [aus] is this a good price .also how hard would the rebuild kits be to get and are they expensive .thanks

thanks guys. euro dat the to anwser your question my motor is a f54 block with a n42 head out of a nissan patrol so im un sure about the fly wheel il check how many holes and weight but i would think it would be around 10 kgs

hi guys i looking for some advice i have a l28 to put in to my 240k should i lighten the flywheel its freshly rebuilt bottom end im going with a mild cam extractors n42 ported head twin su,s .i have been told to lighten flywheel.thanks
