Well I had sometime to go down and mess with the car today. I double checked the ignition wires and they where all plugged up right and I also checked the TVS this is how it looked This is it with the car off, I cleaned it up a little and the car is still the same :/... Im so frustrated as I want to drive it and im working 6 days a week right now and really don't want to take it somewhere as that could cost a fortune. What else should I check? Thanks in advanced

Im going to recheck the wires but im almost 99% sure there fine. Possibly there bad? Im also going to check the TPS http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/tps/index.html.. The weather is so nice in FL right now im dieing to drive this z!

Its a 76 280z , I removed the thermostat housing cause I had to drill out the holes due to a stripped bolt head. There is 4 sensors/switches in this housing. I replaced and installed all but one and used a plug. The one I didn't install was this one http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/thread35873.html. This should have nothing to do why its running this way. I double checked the wires and all is good. I been trying to get this poor z running right again. I just installed a thermostat housing and got everything plugged back in and its idling funny and farting. Today I installed new plugs and its still running the same in the video. Sounds kind of like a vacuum leak but I can't see anything. The car has been down for about 3 months. I can't find a temp switch anywhere this is the sensor that has the bullet plug and a ground which I believe was only on the 75-76 280z. I live in FL and it never gets colder than 50 degrees where I live. Can I just plug this hole? Also my other questions is there is a small house coming from the side of the thermostat the wraps around to I believe the manifold. On the l28et I just bought this hole is plugged. What is this hose for? Do I need it or can I plug this also? I live in FL and don't have to worry about emissions and everything. Thanks in advanced.

Been in the Z community for years but this is my first s30. I had a z31 for over 10 years and it was recently stolen 2 months ago:disappoin. I been quite depressed about it and thought I would purchase another z to get back on track. I found this 76 280z in Holiday FL and it just felt right when I first saw it " got that kid in the candy store feeling". I also have a couple older 80's BMW's that I enjoy but deep down inside im a Z car guy. Here are some photos and plans I have I already got the fart can chopped off the back , It has working 370z turn signals, 350z seats and lots of LED lighting. Paint is in pretty good shape and the interior is clean with new carpet and dash cap. I would like to find a L28et motor and run z31 maf and ecu with it. I have recoved some parts from the police that were found on craigslist from my z31 and would want to use the turbo on this. I know they make a adapter plate to use a z31 tranny on these s30's and I believe the company is in Orlando. I also am looking for a front air dam. Im new to the whole s30 world but the z community is always very helpful. Here are some photos of my Z31 also
