yep....the skinny 240 bumpers gives the 280 more character , imitation is in some cases is tolerable , hey the put L28 in 240's,so the bumper thing is OK.

I believe that the clog fuel filter was the gremlin , the battery code indicated a 3+ yrs old , so that expense was a valid one.The alternator was not working at full capacity and for 32$+ tax and a life time warranty,a valid purchase.I have driven her for over 100 miles since this episode, runs fine , fill the gas tank with premium gas and will have an eye on the fuel filter and spares in glove box,at less than 4$ is cheap insurance.
