X 2.3 for the Talbot and 2 for UK type..........
  5. 72 OJ replied to don356's post in a topic in Open Discussions
No, Tom is like this, display a repro window sticker from a 72 240Z , with the actual vin #, color code,it's standard equipment, original selling dealer and you add the side sticker used by dealers to show the added equipment as options on the car (no $ figures). In my case the info on the LS1 motor, 6 speed transmission , Q45 diff, A/C, Recaro seats,Dino steering wheel,Momo shift knob, roll bar, Alpine stereo,Panasport wheels plus the actual HP and MPG............

ninjazombiemaster,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,So are you in favor for the UK type ?.....I got mine from UK Ebay, they are used on several British Motor Cars , like MG and Mini Cooper.

Yes, I am aware of it, the originals are great to have if you can secure a pair, my debate is that I like the UK type mirrors and the Talbot Bullet type , I have both sets and I can not make my mind ...to leave the Talbots on or to install the Uk's .......

I like the mirrors that where installed or adapted on Z's in the UK, and also like the Talbot Bullet style. Here is my debate, my Z has set of real vintage Talbot's and I have a new set like the ones used on UK early Z's. these are the ones currently on my ride. The UK mirrors were intended for my former Z and I was on the hunt for those for a while but were never installed and she is gone. The Talbot's are small and not much real view visibility on them but I do like the look, the larger UK type offer better visibility and I think that they also fit the look of the car . I will like to get some feedback from you guys......:bulb:

I can see that to work on a semi flat dash, like a 510, but on a Z dash with the curves and gauges openings not an easy task, looking for updates on this mod, thanks for posting.
  19. To me the best car gathering is my local Sunday AM Coffee Meet , in Burtonsville MD. A very eclectic group of car and owners, American Muscle, Exotic Italians,Expensive Germans, Proper English Iron, the occasional Nippon and every thing in between . Some are show type and others like mine are well kept weather friendly drivers. Some owners are full of it and some are down to earth . It is a place to network and form new friends , lost of free advice on mechanical's and at times a helping hand on a needed repair.,,,,,,
