  1. Can anyone help with a couple of Zcar magazine back issues? I'm missing the following; Vol 1 #2 (Jan/Feb 1995) Vol 2 #3 (Fall 1996) Pic is for reference only & not the ones I'm looking for. I also have several doubles I'm selling if anyone is interested.
  2. It’s actually a 3.2L Maserati V8 & 6 Spd tranny. I’m in Australia. Thanx but have to be careful not to stuff my back so will be slow.
  3. Me too but life happens, family, divorce, health issues etc but after spinal surgery I'm slowly getting back into it again, but there's been a big changes since... it's out with the SR20DET & in with a V8, along with swede dash/interior & custom rear hatch glass.

Kent, I think u might get away with telling them it is a 240Z with the A/C option which should bring it up & over 1035kg. Nick.

Hi everyone, Just letting people know I've placed a few Z bits on Australias ebay site, Just klick the link below. http://search.ebay.com.au/_W0QQsassZnixcarsQQhtZ-1 If anyone is interested in anything, please don't hesitate to ask questions. Regards, Nick.
  6. Finally, after so long I decided to pull my finger out & give my thumb ago... so I got stuck into the doors. The door shells were perfect, just surface rust but the skins needed changing (dented & rusty). The door shells were garnet blasted then sprayed with POR 15 followed by fabricating new double intrusion bars made from T6061 alloy. These are much stronger than the single flimsy original pressed steel type. There has also been a change to the door handles, out with the old & in with the new... now sporting the R32 Skyline type. http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/2145/doors1eu2.jpg http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/5476/doors2am7.jpg http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/584/doors6nv0.jpg http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/502/doors5ns4.jpg

Zack, depending on the amount of lift the stg3 cam has & how much you've had taken off the deck & head, even with a 2mm H/G I'm afraid you'll still be in trouble.

Zack, it's not the timing or the head gasket, I'd say it's the valve touching the piston especially when running a stage 3 cam with bigger lift. I'm afraid you'll have to take the pistons out & get them fly cut if you want to maintain the desired C/R.

Ahh..., Richard, I wouldn't use the 280ZX rack as it's rear mounted to the x-member which means if you turn the steering wheel right the car will go left & vise versa... not a good thing. Nick.
  14. Joseph, I have both racks available, the one on the top is 260Z & the bottom one is 240Z. (see pics below). Notice the narrower bush (35mm for the 260Z & 29mm for the 240Z)... the 240Z one also has both zerk fittings so I'm guessing this is the type you're after? Nick.
  15. Joseph, The 240Z rack takes slightly narrower mounting bushes, (from memory, they're about 6-8mm narrower). Nick.

Kent, I just finished my brake conversion on my 260Z... 266mm vented fronts with 4spot Landcruiser's & 280mm solid rear with sigma single piston caillipers. I'm still using the 7/8 M/C bit will be changed to 15/16 to give me a slightly firmer pedal. This set up works quite well with the fronts locking up before the rears under heavy braking. (I don't know what it will be like in the wet, it hasn't rained yet).
