Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
My last test was from fuel tank to pump directly ( no filter no damper)to the main filter under hood to a pressure gauge, 26 PSI.m. My old pump is dead. I’m using the stock FPR Ones I can get the pressure up to around 40PSI to the rail I will look to masked sure the FPR is working. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
I isolated the pump in the fuel system with no damper and I’m only getting 26 PSI. Pump is not pumping enough pressure. I’m going to send this one back and get a Bosch unit. I’ll keep in touch and let you know how things work out. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
So I did another test. Under the hood I disconnected at the out put of the fuel filter put on a pressure gauge and got a consistent 26 PSI slowly. Not enough pressure. Should I try to adjust the fuel dampener? Any help or device please. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
The pump makes noises I wouldn’t call it loud. Somewhere in the specs it said it should pump between 50 and 70 psi Spectra Premium SP1188 Electric Fuel Pump. It’s the same problem I had with my old pump that’s why I replaced it. Tomorrow I’m going to test the old pump for pressure. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
I have 12 V going to the pomp. After reading some more I’ve got a G3 between the tank in the pump and I think I may be restricting the pump. You’re right that bypass on the oil pressure gauge is just to check power not to keep it runing. Please keep the ideas coming, the soulman’s getting frustrated with this whole car. Electrical Fuel Pump Pressure Problems
For years now I’ve use this form to work on my 78. Unfortunately I’ve been sick for the last couple of years and now I have a new LIVER and want to get the 78 back on the road. Read everything I can find on the form about fuel pump systems I can fine. So here’s what I’ve done. 1. Drained old fuel. 2. Remove all old fuel lines with new ones. 3. New fuel pump. 4. Replace all fuel filters,in front of the fuel pump, in before the fuel rail. 5. Replaced fuel rail with new Pallnet rail. 6. Brand new injectors. 7. Car will start with starting fluid and run for five seconds. 8. No pressure at fuel rail. 9. Removed fuel lines from filter before fuel rail and fuel pump pump fuel. 10. Blown compressed air into return line until fuel comes out of filter before fuel rail. (Clear) Have bypass the oil pressure switch for all of these test. If anybody has any advice I sure would appreciate it. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

door mirrors
The mirrors are on most of the 70 GM cars. I had to make a bottom plate to make the angle fit better on my car. My bumper protectors and paint are original. I would not put them back on if I ever have the car re-painted.
