Pony Express is mentioned in one of the posts included in this discussion thread (about half way down): http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?36725-Replacement-seat-covers-QUALITY Upon seeing mention of Pony Express Industries, which included a phone number, I phoned Pony Express and spoke with a woman. She was obviously "mature." I asked for photos of her product. She said she didn't have a camera, but said she'd have her granddaughter send me some pictures, which I'm eager to get. Assuming I get pictures, I'll post them. Thanks for your comments and perspective!

As you're probably aware, most of the companies that sell the re-upholstery kits (MSA, Classic Datsun, Z Car Specialties, etc.) are selling their vinyl kits for $215 - $250 (for both driver and passenger seats). In looking for a good deal, I ran across a company selling a kit for $125.00. They say the pleating is "Dialectrically" or heat sealed. They also claim that they're using original patterns, and have been manufacturing these products since 1981. Couple of questions: 1) Has anyone heard of Pony Express, or purchased their product(s)? 2) Was the pleating on early Z-car OEM seats ever "dialectrically sealed"? Pony Express isn't very sophisticated -- no website, no photos available, so any experience that anyone has had would be helpful. THANKS.....Mark

Thank you for your suggestions! I've owned the car for less than a month, and I've been doing little projects on the car, so I'm very happy to have gotten the link to the FSM. Yes, this problem is recent. Just put in a new center console, and in the process some of the connectors were unplugged. I'm sure that the wiring problem originates with my messing around with the wiring underneath the dash. I'll make use of the diagrams in the FSM, starting with the connectors under the dash. Thanks again for your help!

Issue #1 - When switched on, the hazard lights only blink on the passenger side of the car. (The right arrow on the dashboard display is also the only arrow blinking when the hazard lights switch is turned on.) Issue #2 - The brake light is only working on the driver's side. All bulbs have been checked, and are functional. Are the two issues related? Any insight would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!
