  1. I installed one on my l28 im putting in my 240z I just sanded the inside of the damper with some emery cloth until it would start then i cleaned it futher with a scotch pad and then hammered it on with a dead blow hammer.
  2. The rod ends on rockauto look like 240sx tie rods , I bought 2 right side inners at Oreily auto parts a month ago.

    Yes both sides were replaced from the strut tower forward , i didnt see it until i removed the undercoating , it looks like who ever repaired it did a pretty good job everything is nice and straight here is some more pictures.

    Thanks Dennis , sanding the engine bay was a nightmare , i plan on a simple resto mod im currently working on the engine trying to get the head off so i can take it to machine shop for a rebuild. Here is my other car.
