  1. yeah, those look like XXR wheels for sure. thanks bruskiz! looks like ill pass haha
  2. I have a stock set up on a 71 240z. If i were to buy new wheels, what offset would be best?
  3. What type of wheels are these? The seller does not know who the manufacturer is but said they are 16x7, 4x4.5 bolt pattern, he thinks the offset is +25. He only wants 300 for all 4. i havent looked at them in person but he has told me that they are all in good condition.
  4. Nice wheels Leon. whats the offset on those?

hello everyone. my name is jeremy and i am new to the forum. after reading a few posts, i can tell that the members here are very educated on z cars. ive learned a lot from you guys and ive only been on this site a little less than a week. anyways, i am thinking about making an offer on this 71 fairlady listed on CL http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/2820420592.html VIN: S3004679 i took a look at this car this past weekend and it is an absolute beauty. i was wondering if anyone can look up the VIN for me and give me any info on this car. or possibly point me in the right direction? any additional info on the car would greatly be appreciated such as what options came with the car, original color, etc. ive tried a few sites online but the model year is a 71 and their VIN checks do not go that far back. again, im new to this site so please excuse me if im posting noob threads ... i tried to search but came back with no results. im hoping to be as knowledgeable as the rest of you guys here... thanks!!
  6. i asked about the engine, but they were not 100% sure. they only assume it was the original engine and matching transmission because the owner (who has passed away) was they type of person that would not store "junk"... they told me that the owner would buy extra parts for the car just in case they were not available in the future. they said that the storage locker contains a whole rear end or rear axel part, a head, the block, a cam, seat covers and cushions, whole ac unit, the blower and condenser, z wheel caps, etc.. i cant remember the rest. the dash has 2 cracks, one small one near the driver side and a larger one on the passenger. but still in great condition for a 40 year old car.
  7. VIN: S3004679 if anyone wants to do a check on it
  8. i went to take a look at this car this weekend... wow! what a beautiful car. everything on it was well taken care of, no visible rust whats so ever, and it started up and drove amazing. well, here are some pics of the steering wheel and some additional pics. how can you tell if this is the rare 48400-E4100 leather covered wheel? sorry, i havent done my research...
