I got new injector connectors with pigtails for my 77 280z. The pigtail wires, one red and one green. How do I determine on my z car, with the wires Being black, which is positive and which is negative or does it matter when I splice the wires together? Need help!

I have a cracked windshield on my 77 280z. So my question is,does the front windshield from a 240z or 260z fit a 77 280z? Been eyeing this abandoned, what appears to be a 240z frame, in my neighborhood that only has the windshield. No parts, doors, nothing but frame/w windshield. Gonna get it anyway to start my second project.

Hello everyone I'm vuddysr, yep, new kid on the block. Just found this site and happy to be here. I've owned my 1977 late edition 280z for 27 years and I'm currently restoring it. Darn squirrels ate the wires to the engine harness and I need to find a solution. There will be no problem with the interior because I am a vintage vehicle upholsterer. Been doin upholstery for 40 years mostly home and commercial furniture until one day I met a man that was restoring a 1942 Dodge and he needed the seats upholstered so we made a sweet deal involving the Dodges seats and my Z. So here we are, body work in process, engine rebuilt, but the wires are corroded and some chewed areas. In other words, cant' crank the engine. It turns strong but wont crank. I need a engine wiring harness without going broke to get one. Can anyone help?
  6. Whats up everyone, I'm the new kid on the block and I need an engine wiring harness for my late edition 1977 280Z without going broke to purchase one. Why are 1977 parts so hard to come by? Can anyone help? Darn squirels chewed up wires and corrosion set in on the connectors.
