Engine mis
My 74 260z has dual Weber 32/36dgav with emissions and mechanical fuel pump delete. Car runs good at idle and on throttle. The problem is cruising around at a constant speed it has a "mis"/bubble spot the it seems a cylinder isn't firing. I have new plugs wires and distributor cap and rotor. I noticed taking off the plugs the NGK caps for the wire connection unscrewed itself from the porcelain.(possible fix) The cylinder 6 has a dark plug but the rest are a dusty clean grey. The cylinder 6 exhaust bolt is snapped in the block and definitely has a leak. Brand new fuel filter put in last week. I also have never owned a carb car before so my tune is iffy and I'm going to look into fixing that, by redoing it the third time to procedure by Weber. Oil pressure is great and steady. The alternator is weak and I believe the regulator is bad now because lights get brighter with rpm. I'm wondering if the electrical fuel pump is affected but the fuel bowl should smooth that issue out. I can hear the fuel pump get faster when the headlights are turned off. Any help with cruising speed would be extremely helpful as I'm going on a drive with my club in STL Saturday.

running guide for S30 wire length and gauge.
I have decided to rewire my aging wiring loom and upgrade it to execute all the little upgrades I have in mind. I am by no means an electrical master, but I know the importance even our 70's cars need. My plans for my '74 260z is to wire tuck, hide the wires in the engine bay to be nearly nonextant, and to also include motor sport techniques to make quality upgrades. All wires will be replaced by Tefzel wire and Raychem heat shrink. the point is to make a bulletproof wire loom and to have fun working on this project and making it special. Now for everyone's benefit i will be updating this with all the stock wiring specs as they are on my car with what ever has happened to this car in the past 45 years. I will come up with a Key to understand the small database i am trying to start. the end goal is to help others in their wiring projects. the github link: https://github.com/youztheclue/S30-Spec.git KEY: System name: Subsection Detailed description to-from/Route #gauge(American), Stock color, My new color for reference Stock length, New route with reasons for change, length of heat shrink for specific subsection Expected electrical load, name of oe connector/number of wires, new connector style and size Hopefully I can create something useful here: and I encourage others to comment, tips, hints, hidden secrets and their own data and I will add it to my data set. Update: I now have the entire front half from the firewall to bumper measured and mapped out. Will be updating soon. Whining baby!
The higher pitch is me blipping the throttle. When coasting it's quite and on acceleration where the engine is actually pushing i.e. going down hill faster than gravity, it has this whine. The last transmission flush had an inch of shavings on the magnetic drian plug. I have a 4 speed 260z and a unknown welded diff. Plans to swap out to spare open diff. and swap in a 5 speed 240sx transmission. Any info on that swap would be helpful to have!!! PS 75mph is actually 60mph

New house, bigger Garage!
Lights, shelves, retractable air hose and electrical reels from the ceiling, and over head storage. I'm thinking of doing the ceiling storage over the garage of one of the days and getting a maxjack on the other. First thing though is probably going to be a nice shed in the back yard for the extra space and storage.

Dec. 260z door windows parts
I know the front nylon block slids nice in the front. I also have a problem with the passenger window crank teeth. It was messed up by a pair of vice grips. Is there a way I can get the teeth of the gear back?

Dec. 260z door windows parts
I have cleaned the channels: two on glass, one on inner door near armrest, one on the front inner door angled back. There is the trim of the window frame but it doesn't really touch the window. When rolling up or down it feels like it is binding on the front it's better with grease but the nylon guide seems undersized by a cm or so.

Dec. 260z door windows parts
I'm working on my 12-'74 260z. the side door windows have everything I have seen online except the "Window Glass Roller Bumper Guide". This is just for the side to side movement and rattling. my problem is the front to back alignment when rolling up my window where i have to walk it back and forth with my hands on the top of the glass to make it roll up smoothly. I know I have to buy this part, but will it help me with my issue as well?
