  1. are there any bolt in coilover kits that do not involve mangling the car AND are under $8,000(arizonaZ)?

  4. the whole "cutting/welding required:" bit scares me a little. i have a mig and oxy cutting rig that i feel good about but cannot weld aluminum(tig) and would get boned on that front. cannot find good info on ksport materials... looks to be aluminum, but cant tell.
  5. set of prothane bushings(full kit) on the way. also ball joints brake booster master cylinder tie rods brake lines fuel pump(leaking) trying to decide on suspension components recommendations welcome; anyone have experience with installing the(or driving) the KPRO coilover kit seems to wind up costing the same for me to do the tokico illumina/spring kit as all my upper mounts will need replacing and ksport replaces all that and has camber plates built in. thoughts? -Dr. W
  6. I can get pic, but not sure how much it would help as this seems to be someone's aborted restoration/bumper shave/tweaker project...

  8. sooo... my bumper is smaller than jeffs, and wraps around where there is a recess in fenders, but cannot say if it has the correct bumper. car came from bakersfeild CA(if you know the spot, you know what i mean, at least its not rusty). i'll check dates when i get home from work.
  9. mine has aftermarket bumper, no turn signal and shaved bumpers... and early SU carbs. making it tricky to identify. i appreciate all of your guys help on this. little tricky...
  10. would the accordians be on front and rear, or just rear? mine is missing rear bumper(and mounts) arne; do you know the date cuttoff for pre and post change? -Dr.
  11. i have just purchased a 74 260z and would like to replace the suspension. when attempting to order parts i see that there are 2 different parts for 70-74.5 and 74.5 up:ermm: how convenient... anyone know how to tell the difference? vin number range or something? thanks in advance -Dr. Wombat

hello, this is my first post here, as i just bought my 1974 260z! i looked on this forum and others for an answer to this and have decided to join this forum as it seems to be a bit more mature than some others. anyway.... i'm not new to cars, but am new to this Z, so i figure i would ask before diving buying parts. symptoms; 1 car revs to about 3k rpm when not moving and brake pedal is depressed. 2 no power brakes(barely stops) if this was a car i was more familiar with, i would guess compromised diaphragm in brake booster. thoughts? thanks in advance -the wombat
