Hey all I bought my 240z a little bit ago (last year oct) and loved it. But a few months ago i had the car randomly just die on me on the freeway. I cranked it a few times and it started and I drove it around for a couple more week with intermittent problems where it would just die. but now I cannot even start the car. I did a bit of research and and it seems like the e12-80 is malfunctioning but while taking apart my distributor i noticed there is a pertronix electronic ignition in there. So now I am not sure what i should do....should i buy a new distributor (looking at a chevy HEI) or should i just try a new e12-80 (where should i buy one of those?) Also is there anything else I should consider before I start replacing things? thanks in advance...
