    my fuel tank sending unit wiring harness is brand new, and my fuel gauge still won't read at the F when full. but when i get to 300 miles i usually have 3 gallons left.

    i have a 1973 240z with the stock rear end and 4 speed tranny. i have upgraded to a 15x7 wheel with a 205/60/15 tire. my speedometer is reading at least 10 to 15 mph faster than it should. what's the best fix for this?

  19. the wiring for the original pump runs across the top of the gas tank, you may want to check to see if you have any broken connections there. the inline fuse for the fuel pump on my car is near the fuse box.

    i recently completed a 4 wheel disk conversion on my 240z. this thing stops on a dime now! i have the toyota 4 pistons up front and the 280zx disks out back.

    back in 2004 a friend of mine referred me to his body man in gilbert,sc. he welded in my floorpans and fixed my passenger firewall for $1100.00. that was $1300.00 less than the quote i got from a shop here in greenville. and the work was far better than i expected!

    i completed the 280zx alternator conversion. everything seems to working perfect. hopefully this cured my problem!

    thank you!! i will look into this solution this week. i think i will go with the turbo alternator.
