WTB: cowl panel for 240
I try not to think of it but you just never know what that other driver on the road will do. Hey! If you don't use the glass fenders I would be interested in them also if in good condition. I supose this makes me #2 in line for them. :classic: If my number comes up please shoot me an email or PM.

engine parts
I'm really open on the price...make me a reasonable offer and tell me how you plan on getting it (i.e. come pick it up, have it shipped, come pull it yourself, etc) and we can go from there. :classic: Please shoot me an email or PM about this.

I do have one that I was going to keep, but would sell for the right price. How much were you wanting to pay for one?

2004 Z-Sport Show in San Antonio Tx.
I'll gladly zip them up and put the zip file up for download (would be too large for email) so that they can be added to the gallery on this site. I'd just need to know who to send the link to for download.

What's wrong with Automatics
As far as I'm concerned why would you ruin a sports car by putting an auto tranny in it? Just my 2 cents.

Ignition Lock
I have heard that there are two different ignition locks for the 240Z, one for the series 1 and another for '71-'73. Can anyone confirm or deny this and if this is true can someone explain the difference?

Need Help Installing Outter Hatch Seal
Yes, I figured this out and it made life MUCH easier than having to re-align the hatch. I have not got the inner seal replace and re-attached the hatch. While I was at all this I also replace one of the hatch vents that seemed to be leaking. One small part of the over-all project done! :classic: Thank you all for the help.

New Website PACKED With Z Stuff
Yes, this did cross my mind but it took many hours just to organized this infomation to begin with (I wish I could remember where I got it all so I could thank the person) and I just really don't have the time right now to do the html page. I agree though, it would make the presentation much nicer. If anyone's interested in contributing to this page by writing the html I certainly would not turn away the help but until I have some time to do it the current directory structure will have to do. I am glad to see that there is good info there that others can use, my knowledge is still remedial about these cars but I'm learning more all the time and am very glad to be able to give something back to the Z community in exchange for all the help and questions I've had (and will continue to have). :classic:

New Website PACKED With Z Stuff
I have not had any feedback nor any requests to add anything to my library. I'm just curious if people are finding this page useful, helpful, interesting, or a waste of bandwidth. Please let me know because if nobody wants it I'll save myself the bandwidth and just remove it from my web server.

Offset Question
On a wheel that has a +42 offset as I understand it you need a spacer for this wheel to fit on a 240Z. Question is would the spacer need to be a -42? A + offset means the wheel where it attaches to the car is further from the car where as a - offset it is closer. Right?

New Website PACKED With Z Stuff
I have just finished sorting through a TON of Z stuff I got from a member on one of the forums I'm a member of and have decided that there's so much good stuff there I'd share it with this Z community. What's there you as? There are tons of pix, some video clips, and lots of info in the form of copied webpages scans of manuals and scans of Z car ads from days gone by. There's just SO much there you'll :surprised If you have something you'd like to contribute please email or PM me; or you can reply to this thread. I'm not going to start hosting everyone's pix or video clips but if you have something of interest I'll gladly add it to my library thus making it available to all. It's not a pretty page, just a directory listing of what I have. Here's the link to My Z Archive/Library Please feel free to copy/download anything you want. I do not claim credit for anything I have acquired nor do I claim to have verified it's accuracy. ENJOY!!!

Need Help Installing Outter Hatch Seal
Ok, I pulled the hatch and did the otter hatch seal. MUCH easier with the hatch off!! My question now is that while I am at this I decided to pull the inner hatch seal also and replace it. The problem is that the inner seal was glued on and much of it did not peal off so now I'm faced with trying to find a way to remove the remaining pieces. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for this? I really MUST have this completed today so that it can dry overnight and I can reassemble the hatch tomorrow.

Datsun Scarab Info
I have just finished sorting through a TON of Z stuff I got from someone on one of the boards I'm a member of and there is some Scarab info in there including some pix. Please feel free to look around at it and download what you want, here's the link (just scroll down to the Scarab directory): http://www.pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/ This is not a pretty page, it's just a directory listing but there's a lot of good info, pix, and videos there.

U-Joint Going Out!
Order them from MSA, you can get a 'stock' replacement for cheap or the race quality ones made by Spicer for a bit more.
