  1. oh yeah forgot, duh its going into a 260z
  2. originalozzyo posted a post in a topic in Engine & Drivetrain
for switching in a 280z turbo motor is this a bolt in affair or will new engine mounts be needed, tranny mounts and a longer or shorter driveshaft? not sure about the radiator either. looking to start my project in early 2004 so trying to find as much useful info as possible cuz i'll be doing it all on my own
  3. seeing as how it is so bloody hard to find wheels with the correct offset which i have found to be "zero" (correct me if i'm wrong)for a 240z or any other Z. is it safe to use wheel spacers or do they really put a lot of strain onto the wheel bearings. also is there anybody out there that knows of some wheel manufacturing companies that produce nice wheels with the correct offset for a Z and wont shaft you on the price?
  4. does anyone out there know how hard it is to replace the floor in a 280z and also do the rocker panel . i checked out a 280 and the engine is solid but there is a bit of a rust problem. i talked to my friend who owns a body shop and he said it would be alot of work to stop all the rust
  5. is it possible to switch the hubs and calipers from a later generation z car onto a 72 240z. want to get the five bolt hub and use the front disc brakes as well as convert the rear drums to disc. is this a possible bolt on or will it take extensive work and know how?
