Paint job to start July 8th
I'm in agreement. My '72 is being paint right now. Been taken down to bear metal. All glass has been taken off. Just like menioned above. All rubber.... everything. Along with that, I found out it was in 2 "fender benders", not bad, but know I know the "history" a little better, of the car. Thank the powers to be.... no rust was found! A little bit more money....but also peace of mind. Also getting both bumpers re chromed..... Thanks for the rear bumper tlorber..... new chrome and new rubber..... very cool!

Brake question
I like being middle of the road, especially when braking!

Brake question
I have a problem with my brakes in my '72 Z. Just bought it not too long ago. When I apply the brakes, the pedal is pretty stiff going down, (that's what she said) and when the brakes catch, it goes left. The p.o. said he had just put a new brake system on. Could it be the lines weren't bled correctly? It's in getting a face lift with the painter, but I thought I would ask now, to know how to proceed. Any thoughts would be welcomed..... Tim

Snaps
Thanks for clearing that up for me, Carl

Snaps
On my '72Z I just got my hands on, there are a series of snaps on the interior passenger door. Also along with that, it came with a "satchel" with the same pattern on it. It seems to me that on my ex's brothers '70 Z, when I saw it, a long long time ago, it had the same snaps on it. Obviously the satchel snaps to these ( I guess)....my question is, are these from the factory? Are they a dealers ad on? Are they owner installed? Any info or input would be appreciated.

New kid in town
Thanks Carl for the welcome! I've read alot of your's and others advice on this forum, and I'm honored to be part of it! I'm afraid you guys are gonna get sick of giving me advice...., so be prepared. I know i kinda did things back a$$wards with the purchase, but now that I did it,I couldn't be happier. It's not really the lack of Z's out here, it's to me at least more the price. I talked to Dennis on the phone, he sounded like a honest guy, and I went with my gut.... and for once it didn't bite me back! I like the ZX, but it just doesn't have the lines that a Z has IMO. Thanks again, Tim
