thanks for all the help. but it ended up being something simple the carbs weren't leveled

Well I dont really know where it idles since my rpm gauge doesn't work. I give it gas for a good min but when I let go it just shuts off. no popping none of that. I just might take it to a Z shop because thats not my only problem it also smells very rich from the inside and out.

Yes they are SU carbs and I have not checked that. I'll make sure to check that once I fly back home. Thanks a lot man

Hey was up guys I'm new to the forums and I know this is the best site when it comes for Zs. So I have a problem with the car dieing on me when I let go of the acceleration. This morning I headed to work with no problem I stoped by the gas station and everything was fine. So on my way back home I let the car warm up about 7 mins and as I took off this problem occured. Any advice thanks
