Howdy, On my 78 280z I have decided to install some aftermarket gauges to monitor oil pressure and water temp. Would anyone know off the top of their head if the threads on the stock oil pressure sender are bspt or bspp. The sender unit that came with my new gauge is a npt so I am looking for the correct adapter. Thanks, Tex

Thanks for the replies. I purchased these wheels from a gentleman in the Ft. Worth area. I beleive his original plan was to install them on a 510, however he decided to go a different route with it. I ended up paying $400 for them which was a steal considering they were brand new and the new tires were not even mounted yet. I should be posting up a few more picture soon as my Z is currently being prepped for paint.

I'm in Dallas, I beleive the car was orginally purchased in the San Antonio/ Houston Area, but It has been in Dallas since atleast 1994. You might see it around now that I finally have it registered and inspected. There is still some wiring that has to be fixed in order for my temp, fuel, and oil gauges to work, but I've made some progress. Anyone else from the Dallas area?

Hello Guys and Gals, I purchased a 1978 280z a few months ago. The car had sat abandoned inside of a garage for 18 years. The gentleman who sold me the car did not really want to get rid of it, however since he and his wife were in the process of renovating their garage the 280z had to go. Here is a picture of how it looked the day I brought it home. Since I purchased it back in February, I've: Cleaned the fuel system (tank, fuel lines, pump, injectors) Rebuilt brake system Bought new wheels and tires for it Installed new muffler Recarpeted the interior Installed a dashcap Retrofitted new H4 headlights Installed a 240z front bumper Probably countless other things... I have pretty much spent 8 hours of every Saturday(weather permitting) working on this car. There are still a few minor bugs I have to work out, but today I plan to go to the county tax office and get it registered and then go get it inspected. Here are a few pictures of how she sits today: (The Front Bumper has been properly attatched since this picture was taken) Nice meeting everone. -Texas280z
